Wow Josh. Haven't been on the forum in a while. Looks like as soon as I came and picked up my car that you continually lied to me about not having time to work on and kept for a year you suddenly had tons of time to complete many of your own personal cars.

The whole time you had it....you went from having no job...two jobs...one job...etc. this wiring nightmare that switched the harness out with another car...and the only reason it was a "nightmare" was because I eliminated all the extra plugs from the rats nest and ac and stuff. All I did was unplug everything when I pulled the engine. Guess what? It ran just fine the way it was before the engine blew. I know of one forum member who can attest to that.

Lets be honest here...the only reason it wasn't running was because you never worked on it the YEAR that you had it. How about switching my radiator out with a crap one, my walboro fuel pump out with a crap one, keeping my cargo cover....I could go on but I don't really care. I just wanted everyone to know how bad you screwed me over.

Okay. Kidding aside. Van, I know who you are and I also know the deal that you and Josh had. I also know all the bs that went on from you.

Now. Do not come into our thread running your mouth and using foul language, or I will have you banned from the forum.

Also. Do not come into our thread voicing your personnel issues. We all here have known Josh a hell of a lot longer than you.

Do I make myself clear?

I don't know what really happened in that deal but I have known Josh going on 8 years now and any time I needed help he's about dropped everything just to help, hell one time he stopped by and about missed filing his taxes, also there has not been a time when he has not all but bent over backwards just to ensure my Rx7 stays running. And I know he's done the same for almost everyone in this club.... my 2 cents

Hey Sam. Good to hear from you. Hope everything is going good from that cancer thing. I should hope you know who I am. We did some business a while back. You ported and built and engine for me. Did you have a bad experience with me? Pretty sure I was extremely happy with your work. Also pretty sure I paid you as I said I would. If you would, please enlighten me to "all the bs that went on with me". Also, I'm pretty sure I haven't used any foul language. I'm fully aware of the reputation josh has on here. Its why my car went to him. I haven't done anything wrong. I've stated nothing but facts. I have lots of pms from josh still where he talks about how he can't work on my car bc its raining for months on end...then he gets my car under his carport so he can work on it when it rains...then he still can't work on the car bc its raining...or the brand new fuel pump that's in the car is bad....or how he got the shifter in...then how the shifters in the floor of the car not installed. ..I could go on for days here...

I was naive and gave him the benefit of the doubt. I was even willing to cut my loss on it and not even say anything bad on here. Notice how I didn't jump on here and say anything bad about the man even after I picked my car up. Its been almost a year since I picked it up. I'm starting on another car and jumped on here to see when a meet would be. Then I can see everything he was suddenly able to get done after I pick my car up and every since. Do you have any idea how many parts I gave the man? Any clue how much it is to rent a tow dolly and put gas in a truck to drive all the way to wilksboro....If I was trying to start crap on here I would have told Sam about how josh talked bad about his ability to build engines the minute he said something. Oh yeah Sam..even though you had the experience to do an awesome job porting....which that skill I'm sure took a long while and many engines to aquire....apparently according to your good buddy josh "man, its a good thing you brought this thing to me, SAM forgot to put an apex seal spring in". Seeing your port work I don't see it happening. As I said. Just wanted to share my experience with everyone.

Ok, Van my name is Kory, I don't think we've ever met formally, but from the outside looking into this thread that's for all of us to meet up and come hang out and have fun; it sounds like you may be putting information out that needs to be handled via pm or some other form of contact instead of openly bashing someone on here an airing dirty laundry for everyone to see. I, for one come on here to see what everyone's little projects are and how everyone is doing, not to watch someone bicker over something that ended a year ago. So I have no opinions toward you at all and nothing against you, but for all of us can you and josh please handle this in private?

Btw...I can fwd anyone who wants proof. I saved all our pms. You can look at all my past posts. Most of the newest ones were of me begging for some progress pics or for updates as to what he got done. Heres a quick run down of the deal...I got Sam to build my engine after an apex seal dropped. I was short on cash so he talked to josh about using a bad coolant seal...just cutting it and sealing it back together with some special stuff..I picked up the engine from sam...I ended up getting some tendons severed on my hand...talked to josh about putting the engine in my car. Decided to have josh break it apart and have some coolant seals put in. He took it apart and told me I needed new rotors. I had a jdm turbo engine in another car. We made a deal that he could have everything to do with the other car except the rotors. Housings, s5 irons with the reinforced rear iron. eshaft, mani turbo, uim..lim..all the sensors...everything. not to mention a turbo trans..jic front coil overs.racing beat rear springs with illuminas...new drilled and slotted rotors..new pads...turbo callipers...a turbo driveshaft...turbo hood..an extremely rare jic tuned s5 ecu...a set of 17" work wheels...racing beat 3" turbo back exhaust...turbo rear end.....turbo radiator..I could keep on..believe me. Not to mention a b&m superjection throttle body fuel injection system I originally gave him to build the engine and put it in originally. After I gave him all that stuff I just wanted my car running and a few other parts I had for it put on. A year later and it was half way done...I'm pretty sure I'm justified posting on here. I've been a member for many years. I've helped a few guys on here myself. I gave away a lot of stuff to people who could use it without charging them a dime. I'm not trying to make myself look good or josh look bad. I'm just telling my experience and explaining why I'm upset seeing his progress as soon as I picked up my car.

Yeah kory. I understand completely. I kept my experience to myself a long time. I'm done taking about it. I won't say anything else about it.

I did not want this in our thread. There is a proper place for things of this nature to be handled. Like in the " Good and Bad" section of our forum.

Van. This is you final warning on this matter. Keep your beef out of our thread, or I will.

Just for the record. For anybody reading this from the outside, I know Van and Josh personally and know they're both good straight up guys that I've had the opportunity to hang out with many times. This is just an awkward event that I'm sure they'll work out privately between themselves if need be.

I know that we all have a passion for our cars. And sometimes we do not get things done on our cars when we would like. I understand your flustration Van, and I am trying to be as diplomatic as possible, but certain issues need to be handled in an adult manner. The way you are going about this is disrespectful to the rest of us. Think about that before you post in our thread again.

Your right Sam. Apologize to all of you for expressing my discontent. I shouldn't have let my bottled up emotions get the best of me. I'll "crawl back in my hole" now.

I just wanted to say the Josh is a great guy. He has literally bent over backwards to keep my 7 alive. From building my motor originally after a deposit, keeping me in the loop and sending pictures. To giving me parts and selling me and helping me install parts. He even took a day off work so I could drive down from NY (took 5 quarts of oil) and pull my motor, fix the rear main seal, install a new radiator and e-fan, change omp's and a few other odds and ends then put the motor back in, fired right up all in 1 day. If I wouldn't have met josh and everyone else in the our thread my 7 would have been long gone.
