LongsTurboFB HAHAHA Thats funny. On a different note when I spiend the motor over in
the car it gets up to 35-40 psi of oil just by the key!!! So looks like its going to have
some very good oil presser.
Sounds like you're gonna have a very strong motor! Can't wait to see/hear it!!

I had to take my intake off today and now I need a 12a intake manifold gasket.

Anyone got one for sale?

I'm also looking for some 20mm freeze plugs to seal off those pesky coolant
passages as well.

tim, if you want to, you can go to carquest and get some gasket material the part number is JV127. it's about 7 bucks and you can make about 6 intake gaskets from it. it just takes a bit of time with the cutting. its about the same thickness as the OEM one and in my opinion a bit more durable.

Edgar, I thought about doing that but I'd rather use an OEM gasket.

I have a couple of sources but they wouldn't get here until the end of the
week. I'm hoping someone has one laying about that can part with it for a
reasonable amount. The dealer is about 10 bucks and oriellys is about 18
but they both don't show up until late in the week

Well I ordered up the intake gasket (2 actually) from Mazda and the 20mm freeze plugs
from RockAuto. So I should be good to go later in the week.

If anyone needs freeze plugs I'll have 8 leftover

I'm gonna give it a try. As long as my stuff comes in on time I should be there.

If I'd only just left things alone ...

experienced my first ricer flyby today...

Guy rolls up on me in his 90's eclipse with a muffler on it, mean muggin me like he's from Fast and Furious...I smile at him.

He speeds up....then slows down besides me...he speeds off again...slowly slows down beside me all while I'm still doing the same speed...entertained none the less. I downshift to third just to see what he would do, couldn't really hear him from the sound of my exhaust but it looked like his front bumper jumped up so I hit it too. Realed him in real quick and let off when our sideview mirrors met...he keeps going...and proceeds to turn on his hazards...he slows down again, I blip the throttle and he takes off by himself....repeats the hazards nonsense and then manuevers through traffic on to his next victim...

...what can ya do

BTW Sam, I parked my car in the garage probably for the rest of the week...now that its running mostly right and that I turned that injector dial to rich I'm getting the worse gas mileage ever...we're talking $45 worth of gas in just the past couple days

Well the FB is coming along got it starting on its own now instead of having to pour
gas in the motor. Still needs alot of tuning but its looking good So far. It'll be boosting
Soooon =) The motor sounds very stroung. When Idling it is pulling 20 to 22 vac on the
boost gauge. But I guess thats what you get when its all new. It has gobs of compression!
