Well hope all of you in Fl make it thru wilma ok. Keep us posted. That is the one thing I did not like living in Tampa for 21 years of my life (yes I am a tn transplant).

well here in Central Florida it didnt hit that bad

but from what friends and family are saying down in south florida is that they got hit hard and wont have power or water for the next 3 weeks

 

Well spoke to my family down home and they are all ok. Have not heard from my uncle in ft meyers yet so still waiting.

 

98% of my Miami-Dade without power. Only 18 of 2600+ traffic lights is working. 8 pm curfew. Lots, and lots of damage.

It's bad. They say power wont be back on for weeks.

Working off laptop/generator, and Verizon wireless card.

 

Hope you the family and that freaking monster you call your gsl-se made it thru ok.
I am sure they will be asking for volunteers from the local fire departments to come down and I just might if I can get the go ahead from school.

This was what was left of my alumnium roof in the back, it survived Katrina, and we expected it to survive this one, I guess not.

aww man that suck bro and youve just finished painting the two 3rd gens,anything happened to the mustang. hopw everyones doing alright. i had a few scrathes to my 2nd gen from the chingals , and i had a car cover one and tideup.

 

As you can see I had a car cover too I warned my dad about putting it under the roof but he assured me it would hold up, yea we just painted both of them too.

 

I am glad that you guys are ok... I faired off pretty well.. only one tree down .. all the cars including mine were in my shop and shutters put on so no scraches... I got power back on Tuesday morning about 4:00 AM and the phone came one shortly after. No cell phones.. I ran into some guys from Trinidad yesterday who asked me if there was a meet @ Fuddruckers tomorrow.. I suppose that there is.. I will go and see if anyone shows up.. but we also have a curfew dont we ? talk to you soon... Be well and be blessed, V

If those FD were mine I would cry. One day i will find another stock fd with a blown motor for 6k and keep it after the crate motor goes in.

A big tree hit the car next to me and totaled it really bad. No lights & no phones/ cooking on the grill everyday! they said we wont get power till next week! But broward wont get power till late november. Everytime i think about how bad i got i think about oklahoma katrina victims!


traffic is crazy. a guy ran a red light and T-boned a police car. heard there taking 4 points off your license if you run a traffic light!

Spoke to almost everyone and it seemes most has there power (including phil/alex) so nice to hear from everyone

i've had to fill up my truck twice since the storm and its been a pain in the BUTT. My FD has a full tank so if worse comes to worse i can drive it around for a couple of days

 

hope everyone faired the storm alright. UM campus had us locked up during the days of the storm. luckily i had my FD in our garage hope everyone's cars are ok after the storm as well.

 

those pics look alot like hurricane Charly last year here in Port Charlotte/Punta Gorda the eye passed right over my house, it was like a war zone power was out for weeks looting was crazy it SUCKED, I know what you guys are going through. Cant decide what would be worse sweating your *** off all night long or frezzing all night long. GOOD LUCK ALL AND GOD BLESS!

 

well i rather freeze lol its been about 5 days now im still running off a generator had to drive to key largo to go get gas but its been cold lately ive been sleeping great but temps are kinda dieing down so this **** sucks lol but hopefully i get power soon still have to go to work tho...
