serious help guys

Ok I'm having a serious idle problem. When the car is running its like it is struggling to stay going, but once I hit the gas everything is fine. Any ideas or suggestions? Also is anyone going to the Tax driving school?

Don't mean to interupt the conversation at hand, but I just wanted to say that I sold the Cobra last week and am looking at RX7s again.

WOOT!!! Good to here. Let us know what you get. You going stock or built?

Army.. on Vac leak I would just start checking all vac lines. If they are not all fresh just replace them all and rule that out.

"IF" I actually buy another FD it'll very close to what I'm wanting out of one. I'm tired of building (Cobra broke me down), but I'm not a stock guy. In my head I have pictured a FD that is as close to a Spirit R body as it can be (doesn't have to be exact), with a nice set of ported spec twins, with a jet fighter cockpit (I like gauges) and with a modest 340-370hp. "If" I buy one it won't be LS1 or single turbo. I'm not 100% opposed to single turbo if the power is good and as safe as possible (not over 450hp). Just want a good clean car. I know that's a bold statement but I'm trying patience this time around. I know I'll always be working on one because there's always a little something to add here and there but right now I'm against building anything. I could change my mind in a month a buy a FD shell but if I bought one today it would be 90-95% of what I'm wanting.

Looks like I will be joining the huntsville rx7 club soon. I'm picking up a 93 r1 after I graduate college. So anyone local get ready to have your brains picked. :-)

Do a boost leak check on it. Basically run 10 to 15psi pressure to the throttle body and spray all leakable areas down with soapy water and watch for bubbles.

This sunday, there is an import gathering at Spec Clutch in bessemer. I'll stop by to check out some imports... let me know if you could make it.

Also, Don't forget about DGRRX. This years DGRRX is biggest so far with close to 250 registered.

Well, I ran across this and had to grab it. I'm still shopping for a vehicle, or I should say "sports car" cause all I have is a Trailblazer and a Yukon and now two bikes. So don't count me out of the RX7 thing just yet:

Brad, where you been? Glad to see you return. I knew you couldn't stay away. Speaking of which, I haven't posted on here in about a month

What's going on Don? Yeah, I sold the Cobra about a month ago. I've been looking at FDs and NSXs and then I ran across this Ducati. I had talked to Phil and told him that if I buy an FD it would about 90% complete of what I wanted out of one. However, after buying this Ducati I might have to buy a project. All depends on how much my wife will let me get away with.

You should bring that new bike to the gap in a couple weeks for the rotary thing.

Don's car is too pretty to be driven on the street now so we will have to meet in his new pimp garage built for his new BLING BLING paint job. I hope the garage is stocked with beer!

Most of us are going to DGRR in NC in a couple weeks. Will be the biggest event ever with 200+ rx7's!
