get a shop book to make sure you know what all needs to be done. Make sure you know what tools you are going to need. Big *** socket for flywheel removal (if resurfacing flywheel). Is nice to have a flywheel stop to hold it in place while you break your back on the big nut.......

i would suggest not pulling the flywheel on the car. it takes a HUGE socket and a HUGE breaker bar. and to just scuff it up and throw another clutch in there. and changing to a light weight flywheel makes a huge difference.

sorry for being dead guys. been busy with my 7. i got the engine cracked open and the interior gutted. one face of my front rotor has rust on it from where the engine sat in the junkyard. also the side seals on that face are practically stuck in. so i might have to replace my rotors, housings, and possibly even my front iron. but on a lighter not i layed down 44 sq.ft of dynamat this past weekend in my 88. im tryen to get the interior all done before fall hits so i can roll her into my garage. congrats on getten the RX3 running, sounds nice.
heres some shots of my rotors

Didn't realize there were so many RX7s lurking around Madison... I'll have to keep an eye out.
Mine's the vert with the antenna that doesn't go all the way down. Hope to see some of you around.

Just checking in. Haven't had any time lately to post or hang out. Armymech give me a call at 655.3325 and I can give you some tips on the clutch job. Really easy on the second gen. Did you buy the white car with the black carbon fiber hood? If so I have a couple of parts you need to make that one right. It is running off a NA computer.

Noah made one run Saturday and came back to the pits smoken oil like crazy (only pass he made). Lane went low 7's all night with one 6.9 pass. Both came and went on trailers..... But I drove my 6.9 car there.....There was also a v8 2nd gen there that broke too. Funny thing is, the only rx7 cars that I have scene break in the last year have been v8 ones.......
Dustin, quite swinging on Lanes nuts!

Me no swingy on his nut sack! I thought it was funny that he only ran low 7s all night friday. He never beat noah. Did you get any videos of the 6.5 pass? also I thought you have already ran lower. Hell with a 10.6 on the quarter that car is a mover. We need to catch up some time.

Noah said he had some blow by issues and was spray oil out of the breather I think. I am 85% sure lane sprays the **** out of that white car. It would be nice for you to spank a$$es with a real RX. I would get such a kick out of that.

Next week there will be a few things to do. If you are interested in joining the local rotary car club (TVRX8 Car Club, but ALL rotary cars are welcomed) Tuesday is the monthly dinner meeting to discuss club business and activities. Go to http://www.tvrx8.org for more info on the club.
Wednesday is the First Wednesday cruise-in at Dairy Queen on Hwy 72 in Madison. Usually about 6 pm till whenever.
Also every Wednesday there's another cruise-in at Sonic on Sullivan St. in Madison. From 6 to 9pm 25% off entire menu.
I plan to attend provided the weather is ok on Wednesday for the cruise-ins and I'm inviting everyone to the club dinner and extending an invitation to join. Club dinner will be at Casa Mexicana, 2230 Sparkman Drive, Huntsville (next to Walmart).
