Don, I'm trying to get my air fixed so that I can stand to drive the thing. I tried throwing some R12 in and the system wouldn't even pull it in. So I'm thinking my drier is clogged or something. If I head that way, it would have to be late in the afternoon if I don't get my air fixed. Riding down to BNR a couple of weekends ago at 11am flat out SUCKED!

AC sometimes acts up with PFC.. It might not be your AC system..

Try different fan settings.. If it doesn't work, put your stock ECU in and see if it works.

My AC on the MB only works 2 and 4... and sometime fan setting 1 and sometime 3.. Its weird.. If it doesn't work with stock ECU, then I say for sure its your AC/ AC console switches/R12 level sensor/leak, etc...

 

^thats a good point. Mine works on everything but 3 most of the time, but sometimes only works on 2, and sometimes I have to turn it to 2 and let it kick in before I turn it to 4.

 

I was thinking that but then I couldn't see any freon in the sight-glass.

Thanks for the info guys. I went ahead and called rx7.com and bought one for $37 from them today while on drive to TN. After reading the above I guess I could have saved a few bucks.. But its easier for me to use RP since they have all my info on hand and I can just tell them who I am and what I need. So I should have it by Tuesday and if all goes well and temps are good next week I am going to the dyno!
