How hard is it to pass Emissions in Nashville

Can I pass without the air pump but with the stock cat?
I really want to get a resinated mp and swap out to the stock cat to pass the emissions.
Also can i pass with the removal of all emissions like egr, cold start thermowax, tb mod, bac, acv, ect....

Any problems with non seq systems?

I can pass with a stock cat ,no air pump ,850cc pri injectors ,street port ,PFC , ect ,ect , There are things to adjust and the PFC needs some simple resetting . To much for me to type , I can tell you or show you and test the car on my friends sniffer .Yes I work for food .

they have to see a cat under the car, and you have to pass the tail pipe sniffer. They don't care whats under the hood.

it is not hard at all to pass if you have a cat. hell I have made several 7's pass the davidson county emissions. I really like my county because I pass easy!!!!!!! There is no emissions in maury county, 30 miles south of nashville.

What year 7 are we talking about?

Thanks Dave

Do you always run the stock cat or do you just run it for the emissions? Normally do you run a straight mp or a resonated mp. If it is straight how loud is it?

How is the bike going?

I started sanding on the bike yesterday . I run the Bola xr1 in the mid pipe ,install the stock cat for test only .The stright pipe gave a drone sound on the innerstate .

I still register my cars in TN.. I know Nashville emission centers were more strict than one in Chattanooga.

When i took my FD to chattanooga, I just idled and they gave me my new emission slip. My fd passed with better numbers than my acura. Which shows me, they don't give a ****!

Any emission stations in TN will do testing for any counties in TN. So, if you fail at one location, try another.. It might be even worth the drive to Chattanooga..

ALso, I'm not sure how it is now.. but 10 years ago when I lived in Nashville, I just had to give them reciepts for emission work over $300 or $500 dollars and they just gave me a vaulcher to get my car registered without emission. You might want to check in to that. Its not highly publicized thing but there is a loop hole.

How long til the bike is done?
Brian Cain is coming to huntsville june or july. I was thinking of doing a non seq before he comes? It really depends if I get settled in my new house before he comes. I am very known for doing to much at once, but thats life

Thanks for the year. I did see PFC but I do have a PFC for my TII so was not sure what year you had.
As for the air pump, no I remove those boat anchors and use the stock cat.

Not all of fl is emissions free. In tampa you had emissions and a saftey check. Wish the saftey check was here in tn so these POS cars with no bumpers, no headlights, running on bald *** tires would not be allowed to have there tag renewed.
