Hey, Whats the best Rotary shop in Raleigh?

I heard this is some place down on Capital Blvd. that works on nothing but RX-7's. That true? My current mechanic is a *** hole and is chargin me way to much. Anybody got any good recomendations of where i can go? Untill I get this clutch replaced I aint going anywhere but $850 for a new clutch its total bullshite. Where do you all get your RX's worked on?

I think that they are the best in Raleigh.

My opinion only, but I would stay away from McNair. I went there once, my pocket book was much lighter afterward. I had them press a couple of bushings for me (I didn't have a press big enough and they are just down the street from me). Big mistake.

Everything that I have heard and read about Clean and Fast indicates that they are fair and good at what they do.

For just the clutch, $900 in parts is pretty high...but that is from a dealer.

Just call up Clean & Fast and ask them what they would charge for an R&R on a clutch.

I would not recommend McNair, but you will have to use your judgement. You could at least call them and ask how much.

Call PM Racing and ask to speak to David. He works on my FD from time to time and is honest and cheap. His number is (919)890-4060. Tell him Jon with the black touring sent you. Jerry up at clean and fast does very good work to.

yes, definately go to jerry at clean and fast. He is making a name for himself around raleigh. Oh and by the way... he is the guy off capitol blvd. that deals with only rx7's. He has completely supplied me with my FD and all aftermarket parts which is my second after he bought my first one. I believe he also has a new supplier () which is a great thing.
He has very reasonable prices and services. u can even use his tools if u need or just go to hang out there.

I know Clean and Fast moved outside of Raleigh but does anyone know if the shop is still running?
