Hi! Wanted to say hi and thanks for all the warm welcomes at the DGRR this weekend. It was so cool to see so many rotorheads in one place! I met lots of cool people, and learned so much! OH and Finally! I got to slay the Dragon!
Also Congrats on the new SHINKA!! I have had mine since July, and although new to the rotary world I have to say I love it. That pic of Roxy( the black cherry) is AWESOME huh! one day............lolol my "Lil red Dragon" will be that nice....little by little.....YA GOTTA get some clears first. OH man does it set her off!
Maybe you can help me find out some info. ya know they only made 1500 SHiNKA's in '06. 4 colors......am trying my best to find out just how may Copper reds were made...If they divided it up evenly there would only be 375.....and I'm trying to find out how to figure out what number ( if she is numbered) mine would be. PM me if ya like. and THANKS again, for a great weekend!
Oh and verty...the inside black of the wheel is polishable too! OMG it looks awesome when they are done!
Darth you made the DGRR this weekend? Didn't get a chance to meet you...maybe next year..Chances are you saw mine. She was a couple of "doors" down from the Black Cherry.

Now was the time to buy again in the Atlanta area. At Jim Ellis Mazda they had a pretty nice deal with employee pricing and rebates on every car on their lot. Don't think it was as big of a sale as when we bought the 8 almost 2 years ago....25% off the sticker price. Our 32K touring dropped to 24K..hard to pass that kind of a deal up.
Looks great but in your last post in the other thread, you said you weren't getting the Shinka...changed your mind when you saw it in person again?

Shinka is a limited edition with a sport tuned suspension and a one of a kind interior. Last year they only came with a black cherry finish and this year they are all Copper red mica. This will also be the last year of the Shinka. So basically it was a no brainer on a collectors item as far as Mazdas go. Thanks again the compliments guys. Going to the coast tomorrow for my B-day to ''break her in''!
