Help on buying a RX-7

I posted in the 2nd gen forums but was directed here. From the looks of it, everyone is willing and helpful.

I'm new to the RX-7 scene and after listening to a few run, I've fallen in love. But when it comes to buying a RX-7, I have no clue what to look for. I've read the article at http://www.aaroncake.net/RX-7/buy1.htm and was wondering if anyone else has any tips out there about major issues to look out for (aka what tells me to stay away). I'm looking at 2nd gens specifically.

Thanks!

If you can make it stop by the OGTA meeting (Old Guys with 12As) Tuesday after next, Jan 15 at Jeffery's in Suwanee, 7:00 pm. There will certainly be a bunch of friendly, helpful and well informed rotor heads there.

Even some FC people, but we will probably try to persuade you into getting an FB.

Thanks guys, I was wondering if anyone could head up with me this weekend actually to Gainesville to check out this RX-7. Its dreadfully overpriced, but from what I hear over the phone its in incredible condition. I'd be more than willing to pay for your gas and possibly dinner? Thanks so much.
