Haltech E6k tuner in So. Florida
Been out of the mix (RX-7 wise) for a couple of years. I made a couple of changes to my car and was looking for a reputable tuner to get this thing rite.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
Bill
EDIT: I'm looking in the Ft. Lauderdale area.

Just as a general find on my end (I live in Ft Lauderdale area also), I've found no reputable rotary tuners unless you go outside of Broward County. Pettit in Palm Beach is the only one north, while there are various rotary shops in Miami and Hialeah areas. I haven't had the need for a retune, so I won't be able to recommend you to any of them.
In Broward, there are random shops and individual tuners that I've heard of in the last year's time, but again, I have no personal experience. All in all, I'd just wait for a group buy on a tuner from out-of-town and get on the list ASAP.

I'm sorry but I have to disagree with this way of thinking. This type of thinking is one of many reasons we are in the hole with China, for farming out all out work. Why would you wait for an out-of-state tuner? Every time you alter the drive train, your want to drive out of state to fix it or wait for your "out-state-tuner?!
There are tuners in Broward, Miami. **** Roger at Prostuning (Japtrix).
The OP called me & I think he took care of this small issue he was have, we need to support home turners, builders here in south Fl.

I'm sorry to be ignorant of the local tuners! I was just expressing my personal experience, as I mentioned in my post, and it wasn't much of it to say at least. I haven't had the need to find a tuner in the area since I have been lucky so far with my rotaries. Of course, when the need arises, a local tuner and builders will be the way to go. Makes no sense to wait for an out-of-towner for my baby when she gets sick!
Since the OP posted his inquiry so long ago and revived the thread STILL with no one responding, I figured I would help with whatever knowledge I have gathered in the last few years of random research and asking around (I was recommended to 'group buy' tuning sessions because they are usually easier to find through rx7club/rx8club). Granted, I didn't start looking through rx7club until recently, so I'm sure I've missed much in my search in the recent years. Still, I haven't been successful in combing out tuner/builder info for south Florida through the website, except for a very long and extensive thread about S.FL rotary shops that appeared to be somewhat outdated.
