Looking at a job opportunity in Greensville, SC and wondering what you local guys think of it.

Big plus is it proximity near US129 and such, but what else?

as far as i can tell there isnt a whole lot of rx anything in the upstate. except for sale. i run into the random 7 driver on the road every once in awhile but thats it.

 

well that because everyone's **** is broke

The father of a buddy of mine used to work out there. Said it was a really good job. Enjoyed it and the company. I say go for it. If nothing else, you're stretching your legs a bit and seeing new things!

I'm in Columbia (about 1.5 hours away) and am about to have my 88 on the road with all of its new goodies.

 

+1 on being broke. good luck with the new job. and there's no "S" in greenville. when ya moving? o, and it gets u closer to dgrr and other mountain drives, and the mitty at road atlanta.

^Nice! I'm currently in Greenville near downtown. Found out there is a car scene here; they like to meet up at Quaker Steak on Sunday nights. I have only seen one FB Rx7. I've heard word of a garage that swaps small blocks in Wankels, as I throw up... I want to touge!!!!!!!!!!!

I drive a blue s/e with white rims. I went to Caesar's Head (276) today, and saw a bunch of cool cars. I will post photos in one of FC threads, or on this thread if you guys want? I'm going to stop by Quaker tonight, but I think I'm going back to Fla... The housing market took a turn for the worst. Greenville is so pretty! I'll be back when the gettin' is good.

 

Yeah I passed you at the bottom. I was in the red FD and my friend was in the black S2000 behind me. I thought about turning around but it was shitty out today and I just wanted to crawl back into bed. We should meet up and cruise/hang out before you leave.

 

I was so happy to see a Rx7 up there; that's funny it was you. It was kind of foggy up on top, but was having too much to care. I must have driven that road like 4 times. I had a grin the whole time. Was hoping you drove by while I was taking photos. For sure about hanging! I have to go back up there before I return to flat *** FL. Posted photos here

Nice! Yeah Caesar's Head has been my stomping grounds for almost 6 years. That and a **** TON of other roads that are around the area. If you like Caesar's Head I can take you on some loops that will blow your mind. I have a plethora of good runs that link to each other and what not. Some are far off and don't loop with each other but none the less. Before you go back there are some EPIC roads you have to experience to make you want more.
