i like it...nice, simple, and elegant. using only red and black should keep cost down too.
as far as somewhere to cruise, it shouldn't be that far to get back to capital. a little confusing but not far.
hopefully, i will have something worthy of cruising with you guys by then; even if it is a little more ricey than we would normally accept.

I'll be there
I'm in the Greensboro/High Point area, so if anyone wants to caravan with me, give me a PM.
But you can definately expect me to be there.

The only real problem i have is cold starts. Sometimes it takes a few cranks before it starts up, but I think ive got that figured out and i'll be working on it tomorrow. But I expect some small things to be worked out as I put more miles on the engine.
The 5 speed swapped in nicely, and its a good tranny. I put new seals on the tranny, new bearings, clutch disk etc. to make sure I get a good long life out of it before I have to work on anything again. I've still got the automatic trans 3.9 in the rear, and Im happy with the acceleration.
Im going to Mooresville the 11th to the local 1/8 strip there, and I'm going to test out some launches. Thursday nights at that track are the street legal nights, and all the NasTecers (students at the nascar training facilities in mooresville, who think they are the stuff) ride up there in the little civics and other various 90 hp cars. I'm going to have some fun with them and hopefully get several kills.
I look forward to seeing all you guys the 13th!

GRR list of commits and maybes
I am attaching a list that I compiled today indicating who has committed and who anticipates attending but can't commit yet. Please check this list for your name and let me know if you aren't there or I have you tagged wrong. If you are on the maybe list then let me know as soon as you can make a commitment or you know that you can't attend. I need this to plan for food and to anticipate how much money we're gonna have for the event. the Banana girl is getting more expensive everyday.
If anyone is looking for GRR information or has questions then post here or PM me. If you are helping on some aspect of the event and need info please drop me a message, don't wait for me to remember or to think of something that should be up here and you cannot find it.
