I agree with the they shouldnt be speeding thing becouse they all are and you know it. But atleast this one was reasonable he sead if I come to court witch I didnt have ot I could just send the fine in since no point he sead he might drop it or atlest cut it to like 60 bucks witch with the rx7 owners atleast around here that is a lot of money.

FD3S2005, I dont know the laws there in FL, but what the officer did is illegal in these parts, its called Entrapment. You can fight the ticket if youd like, it would be dropped but the court costs may be higher than the ticket itself, but check with the local laws before you fight it, plus teh sudden slamming of his brakes is just as illegal if there was no reason for him doing it other than to perform an illegal ticket stop. Did he at least give you a given speed?

hmmm still not a legal move on his behalf, especially jumping lanes like that to get a car a few lengths back that was keeping pace with him, did he give you a speed that he clocked you at? I once got pulled over fot doing 100+ in my first car...said "paced car going 100mph+" which of course i wasnt contesting and was legal o nteh cops behalf. But check into the laws to see if what the officer did ws within the law, its rather hard to clock a car that is keeping pace with you via radar.

its good to know whats legal or not...

my super hot law ed teacher's son had an FD. he was doing dounuts in a parking lot with it and started to leave. a cop... off duty in his wifes van with children and wife in the car proceeded to chase after her son in the FD... he pulled into an apartment complex and asked them wtf are you doing. the officer got out and totally bitched him out and called his on duty friend. the officer got there and proceeded to write a ticket and all. my law ed teacher knows her **** and said this was unjust... they were going to charge him with wreckless driving but being persued by a cop that was off duty in a van with his children in it, swerving thru traffic etc. they took the officer to court and totally kicked their ***. they didnt get charged for anything and the officer was put on probation. that FD is now a pile of wreckage b/c he flipped it 5 times when someone ran him off the road. literally. they pulled a pit manuver on him.

Yeah, rotarycrazy is from Lithuania. This makes English what? his 3rd Language(Lithuanian, Russian, and now English). Cut him some slack.

Also, I noted in your profile that you are in New York . . . WTF are you posting in the SE section for???????? Oh yeah, "not to be a troll". Then before you bitch about other's spelling, learn to post in the correct forums.
