I've already met like 3 local RX-7 and 8 owners in the last few weeks.
Why don't we have any kind of meet-up threads going?
Someone help me out here!
Georgia folks gotta unite!

There are actually quite a few rotorheads in the area. Some of us have talked in the past about creating a meet on our side of town.
A great rotary meet in Atlanta is the OGTA meet:

It's just a drive and a pain to get to due to traffic.
A very popular general meet is:
Caffeine and Octane Atlanta's Best Car Show
Never been, but I hear good things.
There's also AMOC meets around Atlanta, some times at Mazmart, but not too sure on the RX presence with their meets. I believe they're mainly organized on Facebook:

Once this semester is over, looking into planning a local meet is on my to-do list, which is a long list. Got to get back into it some how though.
Would love to check out your FD, and your other cars for that matter.

I'm definitely wanting to go to Caffeine and Octane. I work right off Exit 8 on 400-North which is super close and I live in Canton...30-45 minutes away, so C&O isn't.
I am gonna try to make the next meet.
Are there any other local FD owners??
I haven't been in Georgia for 7 years (Navy), so I've been out of the community loop for a long time.

If you are really interested in meeting other rotary owners, not just FD owners, there is a meeting tomorrow night at Tilted Kilt, Mall of Georgia, alot of rotorheads arrive around 7pm. 1st Tuesday of every month. We regularly have an FD and previous FD owners. See the Old Guys with 12As (OGTA's) thread, as mentioned previously here.

My FD is up at "Speed for Sale" off 400-North right now, getting the 2JZ swap finished up.
It's almost done. They should be done within the year. I will probably hold off on going to any RX-specific meets until it's done. lol
Wouldn't make much sense showing up in my Sonata. lol :P

Don't know if you guys saw this meet thread yet. It's a supra meet and cruise out to southrnfresh, but we're trying to get a bunch of cool old imports regardless of make/model.
