Gaineville Road Course T-N-T

Well it's happened again. They cut the time down and increased the price due to lack of interest.

I don't understand. How is driving the price up and shorting the time going to create more interest.

Doesn't have anything to do with creating "more" interest. Just has to with bussiness cost per labor/time invested/ trying to make it worth while for the customer. They started out with two run times morning 4hrs$30/afternoon 4hrs$30 or $50 for both sessions wih X number of entrants. Since they didn't have enough people per the two sessions to make the daily intake they then dropped it to one session 6hrs $40 for the session, again with the interested particapants not making what they wanted to see they dropped the session to 4hrs $50 pretty much figuing on the same number of interested parties they would be closer to what they are looking to make for the track time verses monies taken in. If the entries drop to a level that doesn't warrant opening ther track the T-N-T days for the road course will end. The last evet I don't think even made 40 total for the day. It really doesn't matter to them if they open the course for us or not....there were people interested in using the track but I guess it turned out to be less people than they thought were interested.

I believe you can get plenty of break in runs even with less time as I believe it will also drop the number po people showing up to the point they will quit offering the T-N-T depending on next months turn out. I'm sure if they get a high enough number that the number of runs drop to the point they add more time to compensate, who knows. All I can say if you were ever intered in running on the course now's the time to take advantage of the oppertunity. Jack
