I will most likely not be going with father in law at hospital. Will be on the home front...probably looking to fix electrical issues.

Possible, unless father in law discharges from the hospital, in which case I will be busy.

TROUBLESHOOT this:

Driving to Markham Park on I95 South, come to dead stop traffic (semi burning down). So we decide to shut the car off to "save gas".

Go to start it and NOTHING. No click, don't hear my fuel pump, acts like a dead battery but I was reading 14.2 volts up til now. Kept trying to start it about 5 times then all of a sudden it hiccups a little so I give it some gas to get it started.

Runs like a champ all the way down to Miami but my scangauge OBDII reader is going haywire..on/off/on/wrong data/etc. Other than that I have good power, no other apparent issues.

Park it at the meet, shut it off, try to start it again and NOTHING.&^&^%(^_^_*(&&$&^%$^%$

So I start looking for issues. Battery connected, good grounds, fuel pump wires all intact, OBDII connected properly (checked it for the scangauge, not essential to start the car). I can't find ****.

So I try to start the car again and the monster is ALIVE!! So I jiggled something and have it running again albeit now I'm a little gun shy. Voltmeter out last night and it seems I'm getting power to PCM, good connectivity to fuel pump relay, good grounds (checked again), good everything as far as I can tell. NO codes pulled up.

I'm clueless as to what happened....thoughts???

Go back to rotary? =)

Is this the same issue you had during the last Hooter's run? Check your fender linings just to make sure nothing has been eaten through? Any rain/moisture on the trip?

Electrical is the worst I swear.

No, that issue I resolved. I'll have to check to make sure everything is good underneath, no rain or moisture on the trip.

Stock System is notorious for going bad and causing issues. Check with Mark as I know you can jumper it easily to disable the system.

If my father in law wasn't in hospital, I'd be all over my car right now. Decided I need to redo some wires, rewire my battery relocation and move some fuse boxes.

Gringo, if you are going to do battery relocation, now is the time to get ready. I feel like tackling electrical garbage!

I believe I have a soldering iron...thought you had a crimper? I've got one now also. Can't you get auto wire from Lowe's or HD? Call Audio Outlet and tell Jonny the owner that Kevin sent you and see what he offers.

looking for a better crimper to use on open barrel terminal ends..I may be doing a lot of them so figured I'd maybe invest in some quality ones. I'll keep the reference in mind if I don't find what I need at Autozone or PepBoys for gauge wire I need.
