I find it funny I do design for million dollar race boats and no one pays me no mind. Plus I would make these stickers for almost cost. If only my main computer didnt take a huge **** on me

If you want the full effect of the sticker, you should place it over your license plate. Nothing would clear up who drives what car faster than having your SN on your license plate and being chased by cops all over town while being filmed by the news choppers.

Running from the cops in a rotary-powered car is a VERY bad idea. When they hear those backfires and big fireballs they are going to bring out Apache helicopters.

OK, I would hate to see this thread end in a lot of other threads that get started with good ideas, intentions. Everyone gets pumped up about a new product or part then....
.......... [deadly silence]........................ nothing happens.
So , we need to agree on 1. usage of rx7club logo, 2. overall design 3. price/producer 4. # of purchasers. 5. estimate of distribution time
Neodrift is offering to produce, and the boat work he did stands to be noticed, quality over quanity, is desirable on my account. So whoever is on this needs to start a list of purchasers accurately, and if Neo can be in production in a reasonable amount of time, and the other couple of issues are resolved, I think this should be completed easily in time for the holidays or sooner.

I agree totally^.

Now, we have been squaring away 1. 2. 3..

4. and 5. should fall in order once we get 1,2, and 3 set in stone.

I dont think price will be that much of a big deal. What 5 bucks 10 buck per. I dont think thats alot at all. If its more then its a different story.

As far as interest in getting club I.D. heres the list so far of who is interested and feel free to add yourself to the list if you are interested.

I had an idea for a layout. How about the rotor on the left with RX-7club.com next to it (maybe not in the same font as on the website) and then the screen name right under the RX-7club.com part. Something kinda small so it's not overbearing, like maybe 2 inches high, and about 8 inches or so long, something longer than high, know what I mean? Simple font, maybe in silver. I'm going to put mine at the bottom of my hatch glass. I wish I could find a pic of something close to what I'm talking about.

Actually, something along the lines of this one in post #44. I would make the RX-7club font a little different though, the 7 would be smaller so you could put that part and the screenname a little closer together, not so much space in between. And I personally would put the forum name on top and the screenname underneath it, with the rotor still on the left but maybe not put the state in there (some of us in the military wouldn't want to replace it every time we moved states, ya know?). How's that idea?

Good points. However, I feel that the 7 being large is the first thing that would catch someones eye. I do like the idea of the club logo on top and forum name on bottom. Id like to see that too.

^Yeah, I'm a jackass, I didn't think about the fact that the 7 wouldn't be keeping them from being put together if it was on top, haha. That's perfect. I did think about it after I posted that, that if you're driving down the highway it needs to be bigger than a couple inches if you want someone to see it. I still think it should be somewhat conservative in size though, so it doesn't look too rice-ish. I like what you put up there though.

Its probably best not to include the state due to time and money.

Final Idea on my behalf.

Well I think leave the state out unless you take a lot of road trips out of the state Also I like your design however adding a second color is expensive and a pain in the butt HOWEVER I am all about quality and being diffrent so the color stays.

I am borrowing a comp if mine is nuked. I am backed up on work and I would like to have these done before markham.

If we leave our screen names out we can make the main logo that much bigger also we can hand out extras or have a few around for new members, also we can add the names anytime.

He's right about all that. If you're wanting to apply vinyl graphics to your window or car, the more colors you use, the more "layers" you need to apply to get the end result. Otherwise, you'll wind up with something similiar to a bumper-sticker.

Additionally, if each one has a unique username, and you have say, 100 people wanting one, you'll wind up cutting 100 INDIVIDUAL graphics, vice 100 of the same laser cut. That would increase your cost considerably. Neo knows what he's talking about.

Also, if you have a Florida in the rotor, it really wouldn't be a SE thing...more like a Florida thang.

I'm not trying to meddle in your affairs....just offering up some data.

The laser-cut graphics have to be "weeded" before application and can be quite time-consuming.

I am a pro baby. layering cant stop me But might be intimadating to others. I can also weed like the wind. It is nice to know at least one member can feel my pain.

Since this is a local deal I will probably be the one applying the decals so i can cut it in a way that saves lots of material.

I have red and white Avery vinyl on hand. I am stoked lets do this!!!!!!

I didn't even think of this before, but how about have a couple different variances of the design, like the last two leatherface24 put up? You make a good point about making the screenname and club logo on different stickers, and I will understand if you don't want to do the two or however many different stickers for the same reason. Just a thought. The last design is cool too, with the 7 in the middle of the rotor, the color would be the only thing I would rather have just silver or whatever.

I understand all points made.

How bout different options at different prices?

Only thing is that the designs have to have some 2 things the same so it wont alter the ability to easily identify each other no matter what. Im down for whatever you guys want/can/afford to do.
