Ok heres my idea. If someone can make something more out of it, like actually make it happen, that would be cool.

I see alot of rotaries on the road and I never know if its someone on this forum.
So to identify ourselves better, and to keep all those dopey " I saw this car" threads, why dont we have our forum names made into some vinyl stickers and place on a certain part of our cars. It'll make the community that much tighter when we are driving and see a fellow rotor head (look at me talking, i sold mine lol) we can give and informed "whats up". Anyone?

 

Sounds like a fair idea, something small but identifiable to club/forum members. Might be something DSR can incorporate into their vinyl idea.

 

I can cut vinyl... I have the machine.

 

i say we get some of the mods on this thread and see what they think....


due to the large amount of people on this forum i say that a mod add it as an option... then we get someone on here to make it and send it out..just charge a small fee for it..pretty simple but i say go for it

Yes and more yes, thanx leatherface, some of the people on forum, might not want their names on car for one reason or another. that should limit some of the total production numbers.

Price would depend on size and complexity. When i get my comp fixed a can give you guys a price (we need to get an idea of what this thing will look like, if anyone designs something it has to be vector art NO PHOTOSHOP!)

 

I suggest contacting RAZPWETON, for ideas in design. he is obviously creative and the forum logo at top of every page, w/ the rotor and rx7 in script looks good imho. if we get permission to use. I like a design out right now that I changed club name on. It is simple, basic and gets the point across easy. I will post later.

 

Why not just get RX7club.com stickers then you will know they are in the "circle" and it will give you the initiative to FIND OUT who they are. I think it would be too much trouble to print individual stickers for everyone on the forum and since it's so easy to change or abandon a forum name, it would also prove wasteful.

 

Nah because that still wouldnt stop someone from posting the stupid "i saw the person who is it" threads that have been poping up.

Ok are we going to do this or what? We have a lot of Good Ideas. Anyone knows the cost or someone that can make them without trying to rip our heads off. BTW Leatherface is right about its defeating the propose of not having to post the unnecessary posts, Thats what the thread is about

 

I am an artist by proffession so I can do some pencil and paper stuff and fed ex it to whome ever can do more on a computer with it.

 

Ok call around and get prices if you want and I will beat them. Right now my comp is out of commission but should be back online by tommorrow then i can throw out a price. Not that it matters I will beat anyones price plus I am local (sfla also I go to orlando about once a month) and i am part of the community.

I can also design something once my comp is done.

I usually dont do small stuff but I want to start making extra money on the side. Click here to see some of the stuff I did.
