Hello to all my Mazda people.

I had this rx7 for sale while I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do for my next project. Well as you are all about to find out I am keeping the 88' rx7 na. I have not gotten in the the power plant yet, what Im going to do with that yet etc..

First things first. me and my buddy kyle have started the sanding process of the car. Most people just sand to the first primer and then paint. But I am going all the way down to the METAL. We started today 11-12-08 with both front fenders. Tomorrow will will start on hood, front bumper, headlight covers.. Then move to doors and mirrors (both sides). Then finish the rear part of the car at once.


also inside of car has been completed. New carpet, All black plastics and dash, ETC... awaiting racing seats.

Factory color is silver Not sure what Im going to go with yet. So if you like to read storys of project stay tuned.

Well be posted motor swap spec's and parts being ordered.

Finish the front driver fender. Started on passenger fender and driver door.

Looks bad but its all down to metal well 88% of the car is. One more day,I will have it primered and ready to paint. Here are pics of todays work.

Car is finished Will have complete pics up tomorrow in day light. S5 tails are installed also. Man she is fresh. LOL Time to pick a color?

HHmmm anyone have any ideas on color?

 

i wish i had a beater so i can do a cleaner paint job.... locked myself out and kid i had holding the wrapped screwdriver decided to put more pressure on it.... subscribed tho...

 

How about factory color?

Factory color was silver I wanted something different I think.. Here she is all PRIMED and awaiting on me to finish her. Will get better pics later.
