Well I helped it along with 20+psi lol. When I went to the 4 inch exhaust the wastegate was no longer big enough to control the boost I guess. With the 3 inch exhaust it held fine, but I guess the bigger exhaust really opened up the turbo. After about 5k rpms the boost guage would run laps.

Who's doing the rebuild? Just throw some varnish on the housings and put it back together Did you get the Turrentine rebuild video?

BDC. I got the video and was planning on doing it myself and having BDC just port it. I just decided to go ahead and let him do all of it.

Still waiting on parts. I hope to be breaking the motor in within a couple weeks at the most. Ideally i want it on the road before setember but i dunno if thats gonna happen.
