A farewell of sorts
I figured that as I haven't posted recently most of you assumed this already, but I wanted to make it official rather than just leave things hanging.
I'm pretty much stepping away from the RX-7 "community" - but NOT my RX-7 friends!! - because of a few reasons. First, my second (and, for the time being, last) RX-7 was totaled recently in a highway accident (a hit-and-run in which the other guy was not caught and I got stiffed for the bill, but fortunately not the ticket). Also, I really need to spend my time on other priorities at this point.
You all are a great, rowdy, and fun group of people to hang out with, and I've learned a LOT from this forum and the other '7 forums, and in particular from meeting all of you SE people at things like Deal's Gap and the Varsity meets (which I might still show up at... who knows?). Its been an enriching and rewarding experience.
I might be back if/when I get the salvage vehicle from the insurance agency to part out anything that's still good, but otherwise I'm probably going to just move on for a while.
In the words of Mr. Adams, "So long, and thanks for all the fish!"

wow! I can't believe it! Sucks that you are stepping away.
You are one of the few cool people here on this forum (in my opinion).
I was wondering what you were up to!!
Good to see you again :-)
Take care we'll miss ya
I'm glad you are ok!

sorry to hear about your accident
So both of your convertibles were wrecked? That sucks. Maybe you can try a GM vehicle for a while. They are the only ones that satisfy me besides a rotary

Yeah I already had a heads up on this one as I spoke to Holly the other day and asked about you. You will be missed at the meets and at deals this year. You really should try to come hang out still though. Too bad about the 7 sux that you lost 2 to accidents. My Eclipse was recently totaled due to a DUI hit and run. Luckily they caught the guy less than 5 miles from the scene and mine got paid for.
