y couldnt they take their wanna be cop attitude and go drive old ladies to thier cars because thier scared to get mugged......and dont forget their fake gun that only shoots little bubbles out the barrel and plastic hand cuffs........lol

turns out that it was a privetly owned parking lot so they didnt need a permit but the public safty people were being dicks about it saying we had to have one or sorry just that one that shut us down...the rest didnt mind and were watching and loved the first gens.....but yes they got alot of noise crap which i call BS

i want to use my tires.....did a burnout when i got home and my nieghbor freeked...as soon as i dumped the clutch and started power braking and set in spot for 4seconds i see him running out of his house to see what was going on and he yells WOW WOW KOOL IT COME ON!!! so i took my foot off the brake and went on.....................

I forgot all about the drift comp. Darnit! I really wanted to go. Dont let me miss another one.
Anyway I'm almost done with my rx7 project. Some parts need yet to come. And then I'll put it all back together. I believe she'll run, after lying dormant for 2-3 years. Then after a 1,500 mile breakin and a free flow exhaust, ill join the flamethrower club. Vrrroom POW! Vrrroom POW! Ha Ha Ha Hah.

Later.

Poor planning perhaps? Sux that they shut it down , if I drove 5 hrs to be there id be real pissed , seems they shouldve taken the noise thing into consideration before planning such an event?

some guys out of atlanta( owned their own garage) were there, real good drifters. I over heard some people saying that they spent a night in a hotel just to be in the event.
