it was my driver side rear....... pretty scary....... now some "famliy members" feel my car isnt safe to drive that far of a distance..so.. between not having any takers on my empty passenger seat and sailing untill about 3 saturday and have the parents feel uneasy about the SO FAR AWAY trip to cola i doubt i can go.........

at sailing practice today at the yacht club was a white 3rd gen.....and i left a note telling them about this site and my email for more info...along with the famous...Rx-7 clubs know about you

I dont mean to be **** about it, but...
Lets try to have a good RX7 meet with more than a handfull of RX7s.

And there has been some time options that aim around 1,2, or 3pm. And i ghess we all meet at the place where the auto-x is. (White knoll high-school in lexington. 5643 Platt Springs Rd.)

So whos going to be there saturday?

It looks like we should have a decent turnout of people for this meet. I won't be running my car but I WILL be driving it to the event. I should also have a friend of mine, Heath, that is running my old 1/2 BP -RE motor. I'm happy as hell that that motor is being put to good use.

As far as fun runs, they only apply to the people that actually ran during the day as far as I can remember. (Waivers, etc)

autocross moved!!

FWIW...Saturdays autocross has been moved to Ft. Mill (Knights Stadium) due to a scheduling conflict with White Knoll HS. See the SCR website for details.

Bastard. If memory serves me right, I've only popped ONE motor, thank you. That was the 13B-RE before I went 1/2 bridge. Prior to that, I only had problems that made me THINK it was blown (like at the fairgrounds autocross where I dumped so much fuel into it it started running on one rotor... Bleah.)

But I see how you are! LMAO. I'll still be nice and try to find a new owner for you.

If anybody wants to go to the auto-x at Fort Mill, we could meet somewhere near I-20 and I-77 at around When?? 1,2,3PM? Or we could meet at the usual places in harbison.

I have a mixed decision on weather I should go to the auto-x, cause I could put some good "break-in" miles on my 7, but at the same time I havent driven the 7 a long ways yet, I have a (not sure if she'll make it) faith issue. something like that.
ha ha.

Later.

Nieto, I'll see you up in Rock Hill then. I'll meet up with the Columbia guys here and travel on up there with the Haltech.

See you there!

To all Columbia people attending:

Unless you're leaving early to register, meet up at Sonic on Harbison at 12:30. We'll grab a bite to eat and then leave for Ft Mill at 1 pm SHARP! If you need to contact me, call 803-767-2538 (cell).

I'll probably be up around 9 am to get some things done before we go.

hey, I'm the person Rusty was talking about. I'm headed to the autoX with a couple shipmates. No 7 :-( but a 2 door white Chevy Blazer. I'll probably drool over whatever 7's show up so you can identify me.
(I'll have my car next month tho!)

oh....no.....the excuse curse has yet again struck!!!

joking joking.... i hope the meet is going good i ended up sitting home after sailing and started uploading all my video from my camera onto the computer to start editing...can you believe i had stuff from november 04' on here..haha

hey anybody with a 1st gen that use the lug bolts and not lug nuts to hold wheels on..dont lose them because they suck to find new ones... NOBODY even knows what they are..i took one to the parts store just to have one to look at and they would had me lug nuts and i would say wheres the stud part? it should look like this one and they would tell me thats what the computer said should fit.so the only way i can get them is threw VB at $4 a piece plus $8 for shipping unless i buy 6 and then its $8 for shipping....
so now im going threw the dealership but they cant take my order till monday since the computers have been down for parts......good thing is shipping is free bad thing is they only get shippments in once a week... so i gotta wait

The meet

Six 2nd gen. RX7s showed up. Some of them throwen flames.
There was a little rain here and there.
We caught the end of the auto-x. There was one 1st gen RX7 there racing. And other cars including a Triumph TR6 (this is the kind of car i learned to drive manual-shift.) Its an early 1970s british sports car.

I thought it was a good meet.
Untill next time, Merry Christmas (or if ive offended someone, exuse me, Happy Holidays.)
(PS):Part stores suk, I feel your pain.
Later.

I believe it was a good turn out all though it was quite chilly out, but thats good since our cars run hotter than everyone else's :P. Anyway I give Alan props even though he didn't have his car he did make it to an out of town meet, which IS a good thing. The next meet is up for grabs I don't know who wants to host but I f something is going on somewhere lets us know ahead of time so we can plan accordingly.

PEACE OUT, LATER DAYS
DON'T RUN OVER BY SANTA AND HIS REIGNDEER
