well usally its a christmas party at somebodies house (forgot who but seems to me like they host it every year)...on that note somebody mentioned going to an auto cross which is being help that saturday in lexington which isnt far from cola so we could work a meet and the auto-x in...if anybody wants to auto-x....
as for choosing a locations on maybe's and probably's then your vote on location dosnt count because those maybe's ALWAYS become no shows even IF we have in cola for you...thats how the meets always end up and the charleston people are the only people that show up period..

I'm going to try and show up to this one. Everytime I plan to go something always comes up and I can't. Doesn't matter to me where we have but I'll be sure to drive the FD since it gets better gas mileage.

My brother and I are going to that Auto-cross thing. So if anybody else wants to tag along... We could meet at the usual places in harbison, then go to auto-x. whatever.
I have a little over a 100 miles on the rebuilt motor in my 7. It has some bad tiers that cause vibrations at highway speeds. The power-steering pump is leaking, an exhaust leak and a small oil presure sender leak. Other than that she runs.

i could use another FB.......but that would be to strip the SOB ..dude my back brakes are still screwed....im probly going to just cap the rears off and run only front brakes...
the reason i said that ^ is because you can make more money stripping a FB and selling each part rather then selling the car in running order

It starts at 10:30, but we can probably just show up a little late if noone wants to get up that early, lol. How about we meet at 11-12 or so and catch the last half?

where in cola are we going to meet? on the site for the auto-x it says if you show up after 9:45 then you cant register. does that mean we will just do fun runs? i only have been to auto-x's in Clemson so they might not even have fun runs at a SCCA event.

Ian, have you tried pulling the plugs and turning it over so you can listen for even pulses? It'll be super obvious if something is wrong because you won't hear a constant pulsing. It'll be more like WHOOSH-WHOOSH-quiet or WHOOSH-quiet-quiet. Not the best description, I know, but you'll know it when you hear it.
Good luck

its being held on by ONE stud!!! and that one stud..has only about 3 threads screwed in from falling off..and its bent at about a 45* so i sat down next to the car and just cussed out loud.....and then took a walk up and down the road looking for the studs but never did.....
i dont have a jack in my car....nor did my car even have a lug wrench in it when i bought it..so...i ran to a friends house and got him to help me out by bringing some tools and a jack down to me..
well just to get home i took one stud off of my other wheels and tryed to put those 3 studs on to get home...well...problem...

ouch.
The friday befor thanksgiving break my alternator belt broke, it was hours befor i rigged something up so I wouldn't be running just on the batt. Cause I had to use that batt. to drive my brothers car back to his place, which I flooded while trying to start it, that also took hours to start.
Everythings better now...I think.
So are we meeting at 1 or 2pm at the place this autocross thing is held?
