Hey guys, I've asked the moderators to give us a subforum like Midwest Rally, Seven Stock, and Rotary Revolution.

I think we deserve one don't you?? Well, I asked about the subforum 4-5 months ago and the answer was somewhat un-sure. If I don't hear back, maybe others could ask the moderators??

 

Can't wait for next year's event. I won't be doing the DVDs this year unless someone really wants one. They didn't turn out as good as I would have liked last year, but I will be happy to get some video and pics to post on the website.

I also have some good connections with the Bount Co. police and I will try to get one or two to commit to come talk to us. Phil, let me know if there are any other "local" things you need taken care of.

 

That would be awesome! I think having them on our side is definitely a good thing.
Also, we all need to understand the consequences and the danger of the Dragon.

I also need someone to take charge of making the map and directions.

 

So,

Heath will make the website when he gets his laptop.

Johny will get the signs made

Bert will talk to Robinsville officers

Clint will talk to Bount county officers

Anyone wants to step up and take charge??

 

I can help in any way with the web site and taking pictures of the next event to use for promo. I also have tons of pics that can be used on the web site. Let me know phil what you need help with. I hope to have my car finished by then.

Yes, This event definitely deserves its own forum within the SE Region. It is a regional event that is a driving event, car show, technical extravaganza, and all around great time that'll be happening every year. And its practically FREE! What more can you ask for? OK, yeah also Beautiful girls in string bikinis and $.10/gallon gas.

 

LOL! I guess I missed the beautiful girls and 10 cent gas..

If I don't hear back from Ryan by next week. I guess we need to show him that we're serious. I would hate to start PM'ing him... but that might be the only solution. If enough of us think that we deserve a subforum we should PM him and tell him..

 

I think I've still got over 100+ mb of storage space left on the server. I'll double check that just to be sure. I've got three sites mouching off it but last time I checked I didn't even make a dent in my storage space.

I agree... I wish Ryan or other moderator will give us the subforum so that we could post there ( to start a poll).

 

All the volunteers, I've talked to a owner of another RX7 forum and he is going to give us a subforum. This forum is invite only.

I'll PM you with instruction in next day or two.

We'll discuss the details on there. I still hope that owners of this forum will allow us to have a subforum. Can someone PM one of the owners??

 

im not very active on the forum, but i took a trip up with some of my local guys and it was amazing. i am definetly interested in going in early april may time.

 

Phil, you know I am in and will be able to help. I will see what I can do with the Mazda dealer here. Maybe TN speed sport also.
Also after this semester is over ( Mid December) I can help do what I need to.

One thing we need to do for sure this time is have those cheap sticky name tags with peoples name and screen name on them so we can put names to faces.

And it would be nice to get some models or beatiful girls to pose with the cars. We can then sell the pictures and or put together a calander, and the girls can get a free picture for there portfolio. I have a calander connection and the sponcers can be on there also.

hey guys i had a great time at the first event. i think planning for this event early is great but dont forget when the time gets here lets all have fun and meet somenew friends. ill definately be there. the name tag idea is cool but if you got the newest iisue of the rxtuner you can put my name to a face..... im that goofy lookin guy in the white shirt with the pepsi logo on it. it actually says sexsi on it.

 

I'm interested in volunteering. My wife an I are planning to be there the whole weekend this time instead of just Sat afternoon. I'll probably drive my truck an pull the rx up there(in running condition by then.)

Ya, I was told my white gsl-se was in there also. It is a pic from the last deals gap run. The car looks good getting it thru a corner. Still debating on bring the gsl-se again, or my 91TII, but if the SA-TII is done that will come for sure.
