Hell YES bring a keg!!! I'll even contribute if its something quality like Guinness, Bass, Newcastle, shoot even Killians or Sam Adams Lager. But no ***** pisswater like bud or miller.

On another note, I fully intend to do the whole campfire thing again.

Anyway that's my vote. Except you have to remember that alcohol is prohibited on the Federal park area so you will probably not get to combine campfire + keg as the firepits are in the park, and the cabins are not. Still....

 

Yeah i was gonna say the same, bring the keg but I was going to bring some Guinness or the like also. So I didnt want him to bring a keg and nobody else drink any of it.

I don't know how high gas prices are where everyone else is from, but here in East Tennessee...it sucks. We just started seeing REGULAR gas getting over $3.00/gallon today. It will probably keep going up with everything that has happened in the Miss./La. area.

 

Well here in the Atl area its averageing around 3.79 for regular. Yeah that is way too high.

Yeah there were some stations farther in the city charging as much as $6.00 a gal last night. Today most of what I saw was 3.29 for Regular.

 

That is just crazy! I remember the good ole days when PREMIUM was only 1.29. .. When was that?? 4 years ago?? Before this crazy war?

 

One thing you guys should prepare for, a lot of gas stations in central NC are closing due to the lack of gas, not because no one is buying it at $3.00+ a gallon. There is none being delivered!

You might want to check what is going on in Robbinsville, Deals Gap and the Texaco station at Fontana Village. Gas won't be "cheap" in the mountains but the real question is will you be able to get gas to get out of the mountains?

 

Agreed, some of the local gas stations here are currently out of gas.

 

You guys do realize that we will be about 10-12 miles from Maryville, TN and about 30 miles from Knoxville The sky is not falling, I promise. I sure hope everyone still shows up.

At least most places still have premium around here. I am just going to park the 7 until next Saturday! That wll give me a chance to fix a few things too!

 

Im gonna try to get my DSM going for next weekend it would be alot better than the alternative. At least the DSM has a performance suspension on it & FD wheels haha.
