hey guys

im thinking about setting up a day that all the rotaries down here get together so we can do some photoshooting

i've been trying some new stuff with the DSLR and have been get some really awesome results but i want to practice shooting with other colors than my silver FD

what do you guys think about setting up a shoot between December 20th - 24th or the second weekend in january that way everyone has time to get their cars to where they want them.

ive been scouting a couple locations so it would be a day of lots of driving all together...lots of rolling shots as i'll have one of my buddies drive my car while i shoot , and we'll do it in the afternoon time so that the lighting will be just right

what do you guys think??

and yes its free, wanted to do it before to fund my project car a bit but its more fun driving around with everyone and hanging out lolol

I'm down... My .02 would say wait until after the holiday rush and do it in January...

But I'll try and make it whenever it is.

btw i've scouted out a couple places now

2 really good spots by south beach
1 in broward (powerplant)
2 around homestead speedway (one spot that well be real nice for a group shot)
2 in the doral area

im gona go check each place out around the times that we would be there and pick probably 2 or 3 locations that we'll make work from

 

nice to see there is a bigger group of rx7 guys in Florida on this site that i thought i hope to have my fc done and i would be down unfortunately i doubt that will happen i need way to many interior pieces to even think of it right now

VJ, If nothing's changed since I was last there, the tamiami airport in kendall is pretty open to anyone driving in there. Since it's pretty much just private jet companies we can probably drive around the hangers and stuff without any trouble and get some nice shots.

+1 its true its pretty open have taken a couple of shots there awhile back with no problem.
