wow...would that ever suck to have a car you just sunk a ton of $$$ into seized!

I was just there at Stonecrest this Saturday, too, about 50 cars gathered....I didn't even know they were waiting to race, I thought it was just a bunch of ricers hanging out....they all stared at my FD as I rolled through

^ yeah I had some kid in a POS riced out civic follow me for almost five miles through mooresville to the target and then he cornered me trying to get me to go down there on sat nights and race him.....I just don't understand WHY! it's just stupid...don't get me wrong i like to get on it through winding roads and stuff but i just don't understand really racing on the streets. if i get the competitive itch i go to the track...simple. as a side note if any of those guys were anything like the kid i met, sadly they probably deserved it. but I am really curious what exactley one has to do to get there car siezed.

It a subsection under the prearranged racing laws...they can seize your vehicle for 30 days. Upon conviction, they can liquidate it

why don't the papers or the news station(from the other thread) have an article about the local drag strips that are available.. the drag strip is a great place to meet for some "prearranged racing"... maybe the county could subsidize the entry fee to keep the kids off the street!!!

i hate those gatherings... all ricers, almost never any good fast cars. a few times that gt35r evo and some supras went there... but i stopped going after these ******* tools kept fighting over stupid ****. half those goons dont know the first thing about cars. they saw F&TF and think its cool. only a couple of fast hondas.. that white turbo hatch, thats about it. i havent been out there in well over a year. i find better races just tooling around. none of those cars are worth my gas. last one a went to was up near harris blvd., i was in my audi s4, i was challeneged numerous times, and denied anyone a race. noone could understand my logic that i have more money in my car than anyone of those rice turds and it was not worth it to get it taken by cops. they all said" they cant do that, that doesnt happen" obviously, yes it does...
