if its white then there is a good chance that its ur coolant seals. but like jamin^^ said above, is it loosing coolant? also have you recently over heated the engine?

how much boost were you running? i see in your sig that you have a BNR stage 2 and streetport, but only an FCD. is that correct? if so, i would almost bet money that your motor is blown due to running lean. although you have 720 secondaries, the stock ECU still thinks you have stock injectors. so it will inject a little more fuel, but not enough or in the right places. also, the FCD tricks the ecu into thinking it is running stock boost levels, so it obviously wont cut fuel to the engine. so if it is injecting stock boost level fuel for, say, 10 PSI, then it is running WAY lean. the stage 2 has a 60-1 compressor wheel right? it is moving way to much air for a stock ECU. you really need to invest in atleast an SAFC(cheater way out), an Rtek, or a full standalone.

Check your coolant hoses to your turbo "supply and return" (there should be two coolant hoses hard to see but that may be the source of your trouble - they could be cracked and dumping just enough coolant on the exhaust). If so, that should be a cheap fix. If not, and if still coming out of the turbo side then check you seals and lastly, do a compression test on your engine.

Overall, how is the car running?

dgregg100 made a good point when talking about fuel to air ratios. It would be a good idea for you to upgrad your stock ECU. I am not sure what options you have on the FC but I have seen several including the ones dgregg mentioned.

is that a wideband a/f gauge?

when i first bought my TII, it only had an safc II and rtek 1.7 (720cc sec), and even that pinged on me a few times. I ended up ripping out the safc and upgrading to rtek 2.0, runs a hell of a lot safer now

but anyway i dont think it sounds like your motor is popped due to that, sounds like a coolant seal combined with an exhaust leak around your turbo. I think you can test that by letting it idle while leaving off the radiator cap.. if you see bubbles rising, then exhaust is getting into your coolant = rebuild

but there are a lot of good guys around here that do rebuilds, Ernst at rx7world, Rotaryressurection in TN, maybe Chris may want to do it too
