hmmm, good point. Last time I drove up there we made it in a full tank of gas, on a miata... Thanks for the heads up! We'll definatly make a stop or two for those who need. We can aim for just outside of Ashville, or Waynesville or when ever someone is running low... which ever comes first.

Is this time and place still valid? I would like to join the caravan. I have not made any arrangements for staying up there yet, if anyone else is in the same boat then I am up for throwing in on a room or something.

Ok, so the Denny's on Broad River Rd. at 11am then. I appreciate the offer to crash in y'alls room, I will look for other options too though and that will be a last resort. We will def. have to stop after Spartanburg for gas, at least for me! I just got the DCOE 45 installed on my car and its running pig rich! I'm probably getting 10-15 mpg at best, but I've got some new jets on their way to me in the mail so hopefully I can tune it again before we leave. I look forward to meeting you guys, my name is DJ and I'll see ya Sat!

Yeah, I knew it was Broad River Rd. from the exit #, I didn't think that was in the upstate. I was just a little confused by the earlier posts but thanks for clarifying it!. I will see you guys then. Any other 1st gens coming along for the caravan?

LOL I bet we'll have at least 5 sets of metric tools with us! My concern is the freakin' gas prices and my mpg. Hopefully she will cruise and get decent mileage but I really wouldn't know. My first tank after installing the DCOE, I got about 80 miles off of it lol. Most of that was burnt up tuning it in the driveway though. The rest was on some high spirited, heavy footed "test runs"

Anyone driving behind me better have AC because my exhaust fumes will bring tears to your eyes LOL

Remember, no drinking and driving, boys! You might hit a pothole and spill it all over the 7!

That's an hour and a half away from Spartanburg, so let's aim for 1:30pm. I'll PM you my phone number so we can keep in touch and I'll let you know if we are running on time, etc.

^^ Don't forget, we're supposed to leave the Denny's in Spartanburg @ 12:30 so that would put us up there at 2, unless we're hauling some serious ***!
