ok here are the choices

choice #1

cherie down park cape canaveral

we had a meet there a year or two ago [cenflarxclub]
and then we went to the go kart track.

good- nice facilities, showers, grillles, boardwalk, shade, good size pavillion, right off A1A and 528/beachline [ 1 turn]

bad-parking is limited, but lot's of space within 200 ft. of park

choice #2
jetty park port canaveral
good - lots of facilities, showers, grilles, etc. long concrete pier, lot's of parking

bad-have to follow directions well, when you come off 528 and go through port area

both of these are within 1 mile of each other

I would choose cherie down over jetty park, let me know cause i have to reserve 1 or other. Sorry i tried some bigger parks but they are booked.

option #3 is we just roll up to any beach/park and go from there

 

I say roll up and park anywhere by the beach and bring a grill and a big tent.

 

ok i say either one sounds good. who has a big tent? ok caravan notice we meet at super target on o.b.t then we roll to 192 meet the rotor 7 guys and go from there?how's that sound?

Sounds good. Rotor7ven will be at the dairyqueen on 192 with ALL the food So meeting there would be perfect.

 

im considering it, I cant take too many saturdays off, ill try though, the 1st is drifting, 8th is the beach, 15th is Nopi Drift Atlanta

 

skip the 1st come to the beach then you only have Nopi..

Oh and I have decided to bring the lude, at least that will give me 1/2 a chance at keeping up.. lol I think I will decorate it with RX7 emblems lol...

 

they have those shade tents, with open sides, i might have one, but you will need a few more, setup in like 2 minutes. then you will need extra chairs/blankets whatever you want to sit on, also a grille. this is why I think a pavillion is easier, cause you won't have to bring so much stuff, which no one, sans a few do!

also on actual meet place, if we want a guranteed pavillion decide now! i have to pay and put a deposit within 48hrs from yesterday! this means everyone or the main participants i.e.) Tony, Jerry, Jon, others. myself and AC have said which choice.

yeah, i think that is great Tony, if meet gets too big we just move down the street to jetty park anyways, or other spots.

cherie down park[where we had b-day meet] is the 1st light in cape canaveral where we met at the race trac gas station this year, make a left on central blvd. at light, and go all the way to end, take a right and your at the park. just trying to simplify this.

Free routes are still #50,#520, etc. in previous posts. I will pull up old thread and see if directions are listed and post here.

What time will you kissimee fellas be meeting up.. Those coming from Tampa or lakeland can meet off of I4 somewhere and then we will catch up to ya we will just have to leave earlier..

 

Caravan Route

I tried to find the cheapest route that included picking up rotor7ven at the DQ. I did it from 27 and I4 incase more people from Lakeland and Tampa want to get in on it. Those in Tampa will just need to leave earlier if they want to caravan..

I can change the route and times or stops if you see anything out of wack..

 

We'll be at the DQ around 11:30 ish. Me and jon both live like 5 mins away so you guys catch us early we'll be there quick. If you need our numbers just incase you get lost or whatever pm me.

Well for the bbq me and jon are buying burger patties and hotdogs w/ buns. Now if you wanna burn something else of your own thats cool also. And on the list i saw no drinks. I got the dogs and bungs as well as the charcoal and fluid. someone bring 2 liters of whatever.
