Looking for RX7 clubs or gathering in the Charlotte, NC area???

 

the rotary crowd has fallen a little short this year. a few have sold their cars and others are down for upgrades. everyone should be back in full effect soon tho.

what part of charlotte you at? we get together every saturday at a local spot. it's a few of us with different cars.. turbo hondas, supra, turbo is300, bunch of turbo 240sx' , and more.

There are 3 RX-7's running in the autocross at the Nascar technical institute on sunday 7/8. the event should be running from 7 am to 3pm. Feel free to stop by or come out before 8am and race.

Take I77 North to Exit 36 (Hwy 150 - Mooresville)
Turn RIGHT at the top of the ramp & go approx 1/2 Mile

At Stop Sign, stay straight into business park.
Turn LEFT onto Byers Creek Road
Nascar Tech Institute will be on your right all the way
at the end of the street. Course area is behind building.

 

I was there driving a buddies 93 rx7. had a blast. Zac, where is that local spot. Is it south side of charlotte?

 

it's in the matthews area, kinda north charlotte'ish? lol

it's nothing crazy, just a bunch of us getting together and hangin out. we often get a couple people lined up on the highway but it all depends on who makes it out

i dunno if it would be worth driving down from where your at.. sometimes it's awesome and some nights it's just blehhh hahah

 

yeah matthews is kinda a trip. there needs to be more.

I had what is probally the slowest RX-7 there of the 5 people driving RX-7's but I came in with the fastest time for an RX-7 so I am quite happy with that.

Your car was also registered as B Stock but that is for the 2nd gen turbos and the 3rd gen cars should be in Super Stock, just so you know for next time.

I am going to the event in Columbia on Saturday.

We never did get a straight answer for the FD classification. You had the red GSL? looked very nice. I tried to find you in between runs, must have been parked around the front. the Columbia event is NASA? right?
