alright, i frequent a local forum who has setup a track day at beech been raceway in kentucky. in order to be able to attend, youd need to be a part of the forum. . . hence the closed invite.

so, for those who are interested, the track day is 2006MAY13. its $40/person for the track event, and $10/person for simply viewing. if you guys are interested in coming to this track event, then go to www.tennesspeed.net and open up an account. its a decent forum that i actually frequent more than any, and if you can get past the 3 post/3 day pre-user stage, youll have a decent time. some of the guys can come across as being a bit jerky, but thats to the people who get on there posting about how "rice-tastic" their cars are and about how they can beat anything lined up against them, and well, im sure you can figure that out. for the most part (unless, youre a total taint), its a decent atmosphere.

if anyone is interested. . . just sign up. . . and have fun.

or if $40 is too much for a day at the track the first weekend that it is opened i was trying to get a bunch of rotary guys from close to come i will have my 79 and 91 out there on the 11th of march pm me for more info or to show intrest

Is it for the dragstrip or oval track for the track day? I clicked on the link but haven't registered yet because of the 3 post/3day rule they use but did find the website for beech bend raceway.

its the dragstrip. most of these guys are muscle car dudes that love drag racing. . . so, thats about all theyll do collectively. i think they might try something a little more "4-wheel" oriented later this year.
