How many laptops are needed? I can provide a few as long as they don't leave my sight. Also my car runs like crap. I definatly need some one on one time afterwards. In fact I would be ever so gratefull if someone local could assist me now, before the class, in getting it where it is at least pleasant to drive @ no boost or very min.

What are the prerequisites to taking the class? What should I study up on to help me follow along better? I have never tuned any FI car ever.

The package includes EXCEL (earlier thatn 2007) worksheets and Word documents. So MS Office is needed.

Some knowledge of the PFC or Datalogit would help. Plus general knowledge of engine systems, basic electronics, and basic mechanics which are also needed to take care of your car.

Quick Schedule for July 21st.

9AM - 12PM Grand Am Race @ Barber Motorsport Park

We'll hang out here for few hours during the cooler temp.. Kind of meet and greet kind of thing.

12PM - 1PM Lunch

Location hasn't been set.. but I was thinking Jim and Nicks or Dreamland BBQ.

1:15PM - 6PM PFC seminar

Location will be at University of Alabama @ Birmingham. There is a parking deck across from my building but costs $6 for 4hour plus parking. There is another free parking (during the weekend) but its about 2-3 blocks away. Its a safe parking deck with security camera on every corner.

After the seminar

We could meet up with other rotorheads from dinner somewhere...

If you are going to be in town Friday night, post here. We could either head to the Barber track on friday afternoon until dinner. Or goto a bar and hang out. This weekend should be packed with car related stuff!

So we might want to go to lunch at 11 just to make sure we get in and out by 1, especially with 20 people. Also if anyone wants to go to the track at 8am I'm up for it.
