Charleston, SC guys HELP!

Hey everyone, I'm back in Chucktown for good. However, I think my motor popped after almost 3 years and nearly 28K on a Kevin Landers rebuild. I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure. Does anyone know how to do a compression check? I had to tow it back to Ladson from Charlotte yesterday! Let me know if anyone can help and what you guys are up to. Ken, Nieto, Landon...

Alright guys. I did a compression check on my engine but it didn't tell me ****. I cannot fix my car.
The last time my engine popped I took it to Kevin Landers with rotaryresurrectoin.com and I am terribly disappointed in that result, so returning there is out of the question. Anybody have any other suggestions?
Oh, and Ernst at Rx7world.com in Rock Hill, SC, is also most definately not an option.
Is there anyone else in SC that does work on these damn things?
If I can't find anyone I'm going to try to sell the car as is or I will start to part it out next week.

the comp test didnt show any compression, or just didnt work? I can come over and take a look at it. If it is flooded, it will show no compression also, same thing happend to my 88. I also happen to have a garage full of S5 n/a parts, if we need to troubleshoot

I guess rx7world.com isn't an option because you still O Ernst $50.00 for the time you had Him fix a blown water line. You said you didn't have the money but would be back. I would sell the car, sounds like you are running out of people that might be able to help you.

i won't go back to ernst after he tried to take me for everything i had. i told him i only had $50 to FIX the problem, and that if he didn't think he could do it for $50 then I couldn't pay. He took it in and told me it would cost $250 to fix, but $50 would suffice for the knowledge that I couldn't pay. Moreover, his guess as to what was wrong was incorrect, so it leads me to think that he didn't even touch the car, and that he just wanted to make a quick $50. Based on his overpriced EVERYTHING i do not hesitate to doubt the integrity of anything that comes from him. Additionally, I have been to his house on several occassions and have seen his operation. I would be better off rebuilding my own engine versus buying a reman from him. It looked like a blind person flipping through the rebuild manuel guessing at what came next. First hand experience. I have plenty of friends here in Charleston. Oh, and I think I have it fixed! Thanks!

dregg100, yes, i realize that. And Jamin, I may take you up on your offer. I did a compression check yesterday but not with a screw in tester. I got 100 on one and 50 on the other, but i couldn't get a good seal on the second. I have a strong feeling that neither is blown. I have acquired a screw in meter and i will test them with that tomorrow night.

What is the next step in narrowing down this problem? I have a few ideas of what would come next, but what do you guys think?

Rotors' compression read 90 and 30. I need a rebuild. Any suggestions? I think Pineapple is a good bet, but they're pricy. Anyone?

Well Kevin Landers has presented me with something of an opportunity at RotaryResurrection.com, so I may be back in business with him. His customer service has been nothing but great since I met him, despite some ignorance on my part soon after the rebuild.
