Yes, and it stretched and slowed me down enough so that I didn't go across into oncoming traffic. That woulda been nasty! I do have some whiplash, I'll probably be sore for a few days. My heart will take longer to mend over the car damage, however. I need to get as many pics from Allen asap because I know the insurance company is going to say "Well, your 25 year old car has a book value of $300 so we're going to total it"

Yeah poor lady, I don't know if she was doing it on purpose to kill herself or just out of it on meds or had alzheimers or something.

Glad you are okay. For those of you who have missed me at the meets, I sold my FD to Traynham. I hated to see it go but sometime you have to be an adult. So, I didn't have a car to join the group. Funny thing happened the other day... a member came into my office to get a loan for a Mercedes. We were talking about old cars and then he informed me that he had two he wanted to get rid of. One is an 88 BMW 325 and the other was some kind of Mazda. I got his address and went by there on Saturday. Sitting in his yard was an '85 GSLSE with an almost perfect interior. The paint needs work and it hasn't been started in years but the price was in my range. He wanted $500 to get the piece of junk out of his yard. Hopefully, I can get it towed back to the house this weekend and we can start evaluating it and try to get it started. I've missed driving one and can't wait to get this one up and running. Chip... thanks for being the good luck charm and pushing me to come back with the group!

OMG, This year is starting off in the worst way. Me and everyone I know is dealing with some left field BS! I know that it doesnt change things, but I am truly sorry Dj. I know what that car means to you, but it is not a total loss, and you still have your car and your life. Masin.....I hope your kidding!

Damn, sorry about that Masin, at least its an easy fix!

Well Kenneth it seemed like that tranny was nearly dead already. Now maybe you can get your hands on a good one and get rolling again soon.
