Panama City Mazda (in Panama City, Fl.) is needing a Certified Tech. It's a new dealership that's opening up from ground zero. Looking to "hopefully" open on May 1st. Of course we HAVE to have a certified tech as it's a must.

I'll be the Parts Manager and I'll be reporting directly to the owner for anyone who's interested. The owner and his partner/co-owner told me to get online and see what I can do. So if you're interested, gimme a holler. If you live outta town and care to move, they may make it worth your while and help ya as much as they're able to.

Do you have to be Mazda certified, or just master ASE? Sounds like a good opportunity, good luck with the dealership!

 

Well, I know they want a certified tech or possibly someone who can get certified pretty quick. Have to be certified otherwise Mazda won't pay for warranty claims, etc. Even if nothing else, we're gonna need some techs down the road as well cause the parts and service shop has to be built. We're just working offsite, around the corner from the dealership at the moment. If you're interested, lemme know or give me a call. Could be someone to keep in mind for work at the very least cause good Mazda techs are hard to find around here.

Well I am fully GM certified, maybe we can put small block V8s in all them Mazdas an then I can do warranty work...
Man I wish I didn't live so far South, I'd try to get certified fast. Good to see that Mazda is growing.

 

Well, we may need some techs here in the near future of course when our parts and service building is built (probably about 8 months from now). Just keep in mind that if you're interested, we WILL be needing people so if you're interested in moving, just let me know and when the time comes I'll know who to come looking for. The few people we have right now is a really great bunch of people to work with. Sure it's gonna be the best dealership to work for in this area.
