Last Saturday 11/13/10 while heading over to the autoparts store in Pompano beach, just hours before the Churasco Meet, the stud on my Holley 600 came loose from the nut and airfilter unit and decided to go into my engine and killed it. Allthough it still ran the front rotor bit it. I don't know if you can appreciate it from the pictures. Also needless to say I never made it to the Churasco Meet. It was a hasle getting it back to Palm Bay (I used my MPV minivan and tow bar to tow my rx7), but we made it. Opened the engine today 11/15/10 and come to find out it only damaged the front rotor and two apex seals. The front housing allthough it had two dings they are by the exhaust port and should still allow use of it. I was extremely lucky! This motor was close to 4 years old and from day one when I built it I premixed 2 cycle oil and removed OMP and I was amazed of the results, hardly any carbon deposits.

Also some pics of my primary and secondary ports on my 86 six port steel plates. Now all I need is a gslse 3mm "D" weight rotor new apex seals and an oring set and I'll be on the road in no time!
