PS: Not to be a hater but in the first flyer for the car show I believe it should read Best Of Show not Best Off Show. At least that is what it looks like it says to me. =)

 

I went to old town and not let me in beacuse I need 4 visual upgrades that sucks *****,any way some other place?

Whats'sup guys why didn't you guys let in the TAZ8924PR in old town this month?We all are working or continue working on are rides ...one way or anther.How are we going to attract new members for a get together if the paint ain't staight and we say take a hike

 

mark n, i guess there is misunderstanding here, we (as a car club) turn anyone away b/c their car paint or engine or even driver looks. If you own or love rotary power car/bike or else YOU ARE WELCOME to the club, yes there are rules to follow, none related to the looks of your car.

The people who turned TAZ8924PR away are part of OLD TOWN staff, they have rules that not all of us agree with, yet as a car club, we respect them and go by them.
They (Old Town) require 4 mods if your car its 88 or newer,as an example, tinted windows, ground efects, spoilers, custom paint, headers, wheels, etc....

This is why I (in the past) only attended the local club meets as opposed to attending Old Town. I prefer to meet up with all car fans - regardless of mods. My biggest beef with Old Town is that they have no problem allowing in fully restored (non-modifed) cars from the 60's - 70's, but a fully restored mazda gets turned away?!?!?!?! Things that make you go hmmmmmm. Also....... now this was years ago........ the police would hang out waiting for people to leave, and issue tint tickets and nail people for speeding, etc. I have no idea if they still do this or not, but after a while, the old 'Rx-7 Club of Orlando' started boycotting the Old Town meets just for that reason. I have never been back since.....

I look forward to attending the local meet here in Orlando. I miss the old club, but hope this group is just as good! It kills me that the events are always on days that I'm busy.......damnit!

Hey guys is not the car club the not let me went inside old town is the people from old town I wish was more meets around Orlando,I went to a car show Sunday and the guys from Orlando rotaries tread good and i win a Thropie.I not go again to old town for now but thanks for Sunday evrything was good
