To all of You that have made derogatory statements about CLR motorsports, ..............BLESS YOU ALL ! ........ it goes without saying. . Yet, I have nothing DEROGATORY to say about ANY of YOU. ........... In fact, I bet most of You have never come by or even know what I am about. and those that do, ( you know who you are! ) Well, I know You can't help it, it just the envious nature of this busness.
In any event, those who heve nothing better to do than talk TRASH while hiding behind your computers, I propose an open invitation .........
I will be in Miami for the next 2 weeks, ...............
How about gathering up your *****, come by and talk your TRASH while in my pressence ? I welcome the visits.
I bet, I 'll leave once again and not see hide, nor hair of ANY of Your faces !!!.
One last item: Alex, It takes a real man to stand up. It will not go un-noticed. Best Regards.
Saludos,

Alex Lopez amounts to nothing more than a thief and his experiences and rotary "prowess" can't hold a candle to CLR Motorsports. Comparing the two really is a rather big joke. Carlos Lopez runs a first class business and you absolutely get what you paid for. I could go on forever, but it's just not worth it. Want half-assed? Go with Alex Lopez. Want the real deal? Go with CLR Motorsports. End of discussion. If you have any doubts, I've never heard ONE complaint from any of CLR's customers (and I'm one of them). Do a search on Alex Lopez and see what comes up. BTW...A CLR engine made almost 500hp on pump gas and managed to last what, three years being used in a track day car? His engines are bulletproof. If we had more Carlos' in the world and less Alexes, the rotary engine wouldn't have a reputation for being unreliable. You guys should really check yourselves and pull your asses up out of kindergarten. I read this whole thread and it was like I was on the Honda forum. Really tackless and back stabbing.

Sad but true but it seems like thats what the rx7-club has come to lately.

New to the forum, but NOT to the rotor scene.
Have to laugh, how grown men bitch and mown about this guy or that guy, yes it is sad.
Being that this thread dates to such old beginnings, It only serves correct to bring out and share a bit of history.
Might help clear up who is really who.
A little known fact about "La Vira"...
Carlos Lopez, yes Carlos Lopez is the guy that built the original engines, and that special "blow through 1/2 Holley, 1/2 Weber carburetor" for the infamos La Vira.
Not Alex, not his brother Greg, not any of those so called "genius's" from down there.
Carlos built it, Alex oppened it, copied it, painted putrid yellow, proceded to f*ck it up. Then brought it back to Carlos, He again rebuilt it, painted it red as this was his signature color, gave it back to Alex, all this at no cost to Alex mind you, because they were friends.
Alex again repainted it yellow, went on to race it, and took all the glory.
This is No story, This is FACT.
I was there as a costumer and witnesed this soap unraveling.
Lopez Racing CAN NOT denie these factual statements in the face of CLR. Guaranteed.
Alex never gave CLR any credit. But you will never find Carlos talkin about this USE JOB!
Infact, Alex's shop went known as "European Performance", untill he desided to try to steal CLR's identity in the rotor world by changing his busness name to "Lopez Racing"
FYI, the name: " Carlos Lopez" was & is synonymous with rotors, even back then CLR had stablished himself as an icon in the world of Mazda proffesional racing.
Just recently for example look up: Mazda in ALMS, or BK Motorsports.com
See who's names are mentioned
Eventually Lopez Racing (Alex) was offered REALLY BIG MONEY for that very special carburator Carlos built for La Vira.
He sold it.
That car has never since made another 9 sec. pass.
Carlos (CLR) IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE "THE" ROTOR GENIUS of S. Fl. (the older, and not to be denied, Lopez) and also to his credit, an International celebrity in the Proffesional Racing community.
He is also the ONLY one mentioned in this tread with a succesfull 3 Rotor race car of any kind. Runing hard for years now.
Others down in South Florida have tryed, and from what I'm reading are still trying, BUT not a single one is runing ! Ask your self: why is that ?
Lue Vuitton? No more like Chistian Dior. Talk is cheap, Quality & knowledge ? You guessed it.
Long but true. be learned !

Hehe... I didn't bother to read this dumb *** thread until I was bored and drunk enough.
I have done business with just about every single person mentioned in this gay *** wanna be advertisement tread. I have owned 15 rotaries in the last 10 years, every single one of them modified to the max. I certainly have a lot on my mind to share about my experiences.
However, since I have nothing to gain or lose by sucking dick or talking ****, and I have respect and maturity I will just say this much:
1.) I have spent $100,000.00 total on cars and mods just to learn that:
2.) Florida is full of "underground" tuners who are unreliable and full of ****
3.) Crispeed is the best of anyone who works on rotaries in the U.S.A.
4.) You have to spend big $ with a solid business you can sue if you want your car back soon, powerful, and reliable.
These people make a living on street reputation so ask youself, do I have a car RIGHT NOW that is fast as **** and reliable? If you do, praise your tuner. If you don't spare me of the legendary 5 rotor that your pimp tuner made 3000 horsepower with, and how you engine is gonna be "mad dope" WHEN its finished........

Pettit is over priced but their service was impeccable and they treated me w/ respect!
You got them confused... Carlos Lopez and Lopez Racing are not the same entity...

Since we have discussed (slammed/admired) a lot of the shops in the SE area could someone who has the knowledge list them all with their address's, phone numbers, websites, how long in bussiness and perhaps their specialties. I.E. Gen 1, 2, 3, 20B, Dyno at location, maintenance parts (fuel filters) etc
