here's a quick secondary troubleshoot guide:

1) Park car turn ignition to on but don't start it:
2) Check charge control is pulled in
3) Check CRV is open ie you can blow through it

if it fails 2 or 3 it's the vaccum storage/switching system. Pull vacuum hose off CRV listen for vacuum chamber filling.

4) leave CRV venting to atmosphere go for drive.
5) floor it in 3rd @ 3500 rpm you should hear the secondary start pushing a LOT of air out by the time you hit 4500rpm
if it fails 5 then :
a) it's the turbo control actuator (did you hear the exhaust pitch change?)
b) it's a major boost leak (this should be very obvious)
c) the precontrol system is not working

6) as you pass 4500 you should hear the venting abruptly stop.
if it fails 6 then it's the solenoids not switching pressure onto the CRV. Block off the CRV and do another run. If there is still no 2ndary boost its the secondary pressure hose that feeds through the LIM into the nest. (green/brown on the wargasm hose diagram)
If you got secondary boost with the CRV blocked then it's the CRV itself (unlikely) or the hose that connects it to the secondary (common).

Also check all your vacuum lines and all your solenoids under the UIM.

Hope this help.

My New FD

Hi Guys,
Its been a while since I've been on here, I will be here more often now. I just got a 94 Touring 7. I am so happy!!! It needs a lot of work but its well worth it. Let me know the next time you are going to meet and I will come.

Missing the right hand side headlight cover. Im gonna get 2 carbon fiber covers w/o the vents.
Needs new tires
Needs the rims refinished
Check for error codes.
I need to clean the grounding strap to the ecu. (When it has issues it tries to choke at 1/4 throttle. If we get it all tightened down it runs perfectly. then it gets loose again.)
Install horns
It came with a set of new brakes and rotors, have to install them and do a alignment.
and buffer the paint, wash and wax.
Which isn't bad to have to do all of this, it isn't very much to do. All the other cars we have had needed more. Considering the price I got a steal.

Ive been getting 16 (egr) and 27 (metering oil pump) we where trying a bunch of stuff to get it grounded well and changed to a new battery. We rechecked the codes and are still getting 16 (egr) but no longer get 27. I will have to keep an eye on him.

^Or you can block off the OMP and start premixing to be on the save side.

And for your ground. Do some additional grounding point, You can go to your local car audio store and get some 4gauge wire and some terminals.

Here are the grounding points:

-battery + terminal to alternator + post
-battery + terminal to starter + post
-battery * terminal to chassis (bare metal) at strut tower
-battery * terminal to top of block (where wiring harness bolts down)
-ground to alternator body
-ground to starter body

This gives clean, high voltage signal to the starter, alternator, and engine wiring harness/ecu.

What type of oil do you use for premix?
How hard is it to get to the OMP?
