The FD is coming along slowly as other things (college/daughters birthday/christmas/travel) this time of year have taken priority as far as $ and thats always what an rx7 need to be healthy lol. Im redoing my interior in my front room, the body is in Asheville waiting for me to drop the motor/tranny in and put the interior back in. Ill be wrapping it a 3m dark gray matte. I couldnt decide on a color to paint it so that made it a whole lot easier and way cheaper. Should be done by March(its funny how dates always keep getting pushed back lol). Im sooo damn itchy for it.
I remember when Rich started up Majestic...I hate that *******...anyway, I wouldnt say Majestic is near NS....I remember a few shops in Wilmington fizzle out...like Special FX which turned into something else then died off. That was around the time everyone met up on Oleander at the Maaco and drove to Leland to street race in the woods. Now cops are everywhere. Bens ESC is still in Jville, which I like and Ben is a friend of mine and helped me out a lot. I think Crom might be gone, and the other one on 24 going out to Richlands, East Coast Imports(if I remember correctly) cheated me out of a ton of parts I had on my car like a second rad fan on my eclipse they said was just "stolen" and didnt replace(which lead to a busted head gasket) "threw away" my Greddy BOV when I bought an HKS one, and lent out my wastegate to someone which they put on me to get back by giving me the guys number and he never returned my calls. I do all my own work now.

i got family coming donw this weekend and my car wont be ready. hmmm probly not next weekend either, id say lets start to look at maby the begining of next month. should give people enough time to get their cars ready and plan their scheduals
I was just talking about informal meetings with rotary owners, not a car gathering thing. Just if anyone was bored. After this weekend Ill be busy for every weekend probably til the end of January. School, birthdays, thanksgiving, christmas, new years and the beginning of next UNCW semester have pretty much tied up this end of the year.
ohhh ok i see, hmmm im not to sure then, i think what needs to happen is we need to draw all the 7 owners out of hidding around here and try to setup a meeting like you were talking about. im just not sure how to do it.
probably set up a date about a month or two in advance with something everyone could actually enjoy on a weekend whether they have their car or not. The hardest part is to get the first face to face. After that then made aquaintences are easier to produce more attendences at meets. Something like end of Jan beginning of Feb with a BBQ at a convienient park or buffet dinner at the local golden corral(lol) or i can talk to my guy CJ at Wasabi Sushi and see if we can get a group discount/meeting area reserved(he makes the best sushi in Wilmington) IDK, lets start spitballing. I arranged the last 7 meet that I know of in Wilmington that had about 10-15 people show up at Hugh McCrae park with a drive along Wrightsville Beach and Greenfield Lake. It was a good time.
ya i agree, i think everyone is gunna be busy until like you said the end of jan or begining of feb. i like the idea of a BBQ at a park, have everyone bring somthing so on so fourth. im not sure of to many parks since i just moved here but it sounds nice to me. ill start throwing around the idea to a couple of my buddies and anyone else i can find on here.
