Question Body shops? also, turbo question

Anyone know a good and reasonably priced autobody shop? I have a '94 with some knicks and dings with faded paint. I'm just looking to get her smoothed out and shined up. Foster's Autobody off of Westgate Rd (Raleigh, NC) is telling me over 4k. I think that's a bit much to repaint a car that has no serious damage. Any help is appreciated!

Also, if my turbo has stopped engaging, does that automatically mean I'll have to replace my turbo?

$4k is a very reasonable price to repaint your car, especially if they will be doing door jams and engine bay..And as far as good and reputable shops go,try posting in the forum designated for NC and you might find that to be a little more helpful..

No, not at all. The turbo itself is fine.

See the turbo troubleshooting links in the FAQ.

MOVING to your regional forum for your body shop question. Research the links in the FAQ Dave pointed you to before creating a new thread about your turbo issue.

if your twins are anything like my turbo, you may have simply snapped the little clip that attaches your wastegate actuator rod. check that out, hope it works.
