Im campin' myself for sure, dont know about everyone else. Unless its freakin cold,
im thinking beers and burgers. Seneca and Keith will prolly come along too and I know they will camp for a night as well. We went backpacking a while back, good for the soul. Couldnt help but think about bears eating me in my sleep though lol

Original plan is to camp out and those who are too ÞuċŸ to camp out can go get a hotel.... like me =P j/k

But yea, the original is plan is for both options... not sure what Tray has decided on yet though. I personally would rather camp, but I'm sure others will not.

I heard (looks at tray) that getting a speeding ticket on the Parkway is a felony offense since it's on Federal land...

Yeah I'm down for camping, as long as you guys don't go Brokeback Mountain on me!
Lotsa beer, some grilling out, maybe some , sounds good to me!

Nah if so it would have come up in my background check from my previous employer. Its a speeding ticket, you pay a fine, that's pretty much it. They have reciprocal agreements with some states so that points are deducted from your license.

Oh yeah, since you and Tray are programmers maybe you'll appreciate these jokes I came across. I get the first one, hellifino what the 2nd means, splain puhleeze?
There are 10 types of people in this world, those that understand binary and those that don't.

Why do programmers confuse Halloween and Christmas?
Because, OCT31=DEC25

Only person you have to worry about going Brokeback Mountain on you is Tray... he hasn't stopped talking about snuggling with you that night.

Ok, so I see a bit of "what about over night?" Well, since we are cutting this back to a single state event, then we are able to widen our area for possibly over night locations...

Personally I'm thinking about camping, but this is set for the end of Oct, so, in theory, and hopefully the weather will be colder than now. With that being said, the over-night stops will be such that if people wish to camp, they can do so and it is legal for them to do so. If anyone wishes to get a hotel tell room, a hotel or two will be a short drive off the parkway. Also, our departure times in the morning will accomidate both groups of people.

Just because I want to camp out doesn't mean everyone wants to camp out, so I want to make sure the non-camping option is open. Right now, it looks like the over-night stopping will be around Asheville for Friday night and Boone on Saturday night. And, if the sky is clear, then there might be a midnight run, but it will return to our respective sleeping sites.

Dude, friends share, you know!?
In all seriousness, I think she would enjoy it since we will be cruising instead of going nuts up there. Except for the fact that if she doesn't have a rider, you'll both be in danger because you'll be texting each other the whole time. Tell her to bring a cute friend....or 3!

Nothing, why?

By the way eli... could you do me one HUGE favor? If your riding behind me, please use this formula when you ride behind me: ( Current Speed ) / 10 + 2 seconds.

So, if we are traveling at 50 MPH, please stay 7 seconds behind me! Remember my car can stop on a dime!

Thats Cute, dont worry I wont drive behind you. seems like I done just fine keeping my inferior FC from destroying your exotic, and I have 4 piston calipers myself and with the 1 sec notice I had of traffic stopping I did well.

No, Tray is going to shimmy up a tree and kick a squirrel out of its nest for the night.
