Any chance the driver of a black FB that I've seen twice this summer in Jefferson GA read this forum? If so, nice car! You should stop by one of the rotary meetings.

 

Ray, did you stop and throw one of the OGTA cards on the car?

 

I would have Holly but both times we were in motion, the first time I saw him just as he was turning off the main drag into Jefferson, I don't think he saw me. But yesterday we were driving in opposite directions, he had plenty of time to wink his headlights (I still haven't figured out how to do that, but I waved). I figure he must live in Jefferson or someplace nearby.

 

That's an easy mod, Ray. You have a switch on the cowl that you can use, or you can slip a diode between two pins on your combination switch. It'll flip the headlights up when you tug on the high beams, which is much quicker to do on the road. I'll bring some diodes to Jeffrey's.

 

That's fine Crit, but I think I need a diode for my brain. The other car is usually going by before I realize I should be flicking the headlights. But please do bring some to the August 5 OG@TA meeting. Maybe I can get the hang of it with practice.
