Birmingham guys, "wrench day" tomorrow

Hey guys, I'm having a few people over to my house tomorrow (saturday). I'm going to be putting my P5 back together and cleaning and prepping my 86 RX7 to be my reliable daily!!

I'm going to be grilling out for everyone who wants to come by to help out. If any of your local RX7 guys would like to come out and help me learn about this new toy I'd appreciate it.

pm me for my number or address if you'd like to come by. We're going to be starting about 10am.

Matty

Well, I had a pretty good sized turnout from my Protege forum so we ended up getting some good things done. I'd like to do this again this weekend to finish up the last few things I have left to do (mechanically). I figure if I could get 1-2 good rotary people out to help it would make things a lot easier. Here's a list of what I've got left to do

replace cat with test-pipe

swap in new ported/polished/modded TB

replace outter door trim (between window and door)

replace clutch master/slave cylinder and line (pedal just sitting on floor)

finish stripping out carpet remains and re-attaching seats to bare metal

replace alternator pulley with dual design and add second belt

wire up FAL slim fan

checking/correcting TPS and idle problem

I plan on either grilling out or ordering up pizzas or burgers or whatever. I'll provide milo's, bottled water, beer and some form of meat! You want chips or whatever bring your own! I may even boil up some peanuts to snack on.

Anyone interested??

a 24hr bump.... trying to get some knowledgable people to come by and chip in since I'm new to the rotary scene. Anyone interested? There seems to be a lot of activity in this S.E. section but no'one replying to this thread.

wow,....nevermind. Obviously people can read this thread and are choosing to ignore it without as much as a "no thanks". I'll just get this stuff done myself. More food for me.
