Hey Simon missed you bro!!
The car ran 6.25 in the 1/8 at immokalee with stock suspension, a single weber 48, and all metal body. We also won the match race against Saez Racing. It was fun there were a lot of rotaries. As a matter of fact the majority of cars were rotaires and very few V8's. Simon maybe we should start a thread and start planning the big BBQ at Markham Park, so that people can make plans. I will try to take the Corolla on the trailer for this meet if I can. Hope to see soon.

Hey fddrifter, I would love to but Lakeland does not want to pay for the match. Immokalee paid both of us Danito and myself for the match and it wasn't so far. Lakeland is far away and don't want to pay. Just in diesel alone to pull the trailer is $300.00 and we have to travel on saturday and stay overnight $$$$. We are working on it, with Lakeland to see if they pay us for some of the expenses. I will let you know the outcome to see if we can make it to Lakeland.
^^
ok man thanks for the info.I wish you guys the best and I hope ya come up with a deal with lakeland. I ******* hate Racingscenemag and their events, They never want to pay out the amount they say they will pay and wont never pay for match races. Pimar had the best events in lakeland.

Thanks Simon, the car ran a 6.02 on the 1/8 mile and 9.80 on the 1/4 mile in event that we went on Aruba. The track there was awesome and it hook up good. The event at immokalee was excellent but the car wasn't hooking up. The times in the 60 foot was lower than we normally run. We had to shift the car at lower RPM's in order to hook up some. We were shifting at 9,600 when we normally shift at 10,600. We have some changes coming up in the near future. We are going fuel injection with microtech, that should take care of some of the problems that we presently have, like having to tune the car every time the temperature changes. We should have no problem running in the mid to low 5's in the 1/8 mile. I will definite will be attending the BBQ at Markham Park, I always have a great time at this event and see people that I haven't seen in awhile. I will spread the word to all the rotaries that I see. See you all soon.
