I'm going to spectate, since my FB will not pass inspection.

 

Really? Dude the only thing you need to pass inspection at an auto-x is to make sure your battery is tied down properly, lol.

 

My driver seat frame is broken. Can I get by with a bungie cord for a battery tie down?

 

Bungie won't pass, needs to be bolted down. You can get those J-bolt tie downs at Advance or Autozone for like 5 bucks. Most common failures I see at tech inspection are for wheel bearings and leaking fluids. The seat would fail you but I doubt they would notice. They don't specifically check for it, at least not here, so they would have to accidentally lean on it.

Give it a shot, it's the most fun you can legally have in a parking lot
