We are pushing to have two simultaneous courses. One will be the timed race course. The other will have several car control scenarios arranged: skid pad, slalom ...etc.

Thanks to the 20 or so that have signed up.
It WILL be some of the most fun you've had in a car. We still have some slots we need to fill to secure this event. Urge other rotary and Mazda drivers to sign up. Ideally we'd have 40 particpants. We are halfway. Thats good, but lets do everything we can to make these things happen.

I've heard some concerns about not having experience. Thats PERFECT. This event is meant for beginners and intermediates. Many if not most of the entrants have ZERO experience. An instructor will coach you from the passenger seat. This is a low pressure situation. These is no need to be self conscious. Everyone will have a lot fun.

I have the battery in the bin behind the driver. I used small canvas strap with a ratcheting tensioner. There are holes cut in the inside of the bin where the straps slide though.

Can you just post the address to this event? I've never been to this area of NC, so the directions you posted don't mean anything to me. Give post the address, I'll put it in my GPS, and we'll be there with bells on.
Also, is this event restricted only to Mazdas?

Glad you had fun. The weather was great. Thanks to everyone that participated from the MSCCNC officers and members to the drivers. Without drivers to run and flag there would be no event.
There was some nice hardware out there: Exiges, Elises, RX-8s, FDs, FCs, supercharged & turbo Miatas, some very well driven stock Miatas.
